That are exactly those the stupid restrictions that have no place in this treaty. We already saw it, and sorry but we won't sign such crap.

Dab saw it.

Well it's not for you to decide, but to samura leadership... how they want to rp that.

Look, Kogen's probably never going to be restored to the throne inRP. The Ronin are going to become the Blood Dragons MkII with their unobtainable goal. Even if he was, it won't happen for years real-time, and I highly doubt Kusari's going to jump back to a state of war with Bretonia afterwards.
In short, it's a logical demand with absolutely no possible ingame repercussions. Just because you sign a long-term clause, doesn't mean you can't be generally nasty and manipulative and lie, as well. Unless Kogen agreed to a clause like that, Bretonia would probably slip a noose around his neck.
Now, here's the point I made in the last thread on this topic.
Yall want to play a military, that's fine...but you're not a military anymore. The very most interesting aspect of your position is that there's going to be decay, and you're ignoring that chance. Fine, you don't want to be in debt to bretonia. Fine, you don't want to be pushed around by other players. That's simply human. But if you want to take this opportunity to be poor, to actually have a struggle in this game that gives everything to everyone, and squander that, I rather think you don't deserve the official faction slot.
That's just my opinion, of course, that the interesting bits of roleplay are the ones where you don't have a magic wand, that stories are only good when the characters are limited..but I think the fact that the rules and game mechanics lock out many choices reflect this ideal in much of the drive of the game.
Play to your weakness. Do something about it. It deserves attention, and you're ignoring it.

I'm not roleplaying Jien Kogen... it's not for me to decide... if you will ask my char to sign such demand... woohoo.. he will do it right away. Because he don't care what wrote on paper.
But this treaty is not about future of Kogen and Ronins... but more like... how we will cooperate right now.
Thus... all terms about cooperation is here... why you need something else wich is not valuable.

Uh West... Without that clause theres no way Bretonia would ever work with the ronin, it wouldnt make any sense at all. I hesitate to say itd be OORP, because it just wouldnt happen, itd be nonsensical to be working with someone who claimed to own your house, and said he was gonna attack you again as soon as he could.
Besides, do you think Kogen is really gonna get back into power and attack bretonia again anytime soon?
And you could always... break the treaty! Yknow, like Kusari did when it attacked bret in the first place.

No, no. That's not at all what this is about. This treaty has long-term political ramifications way beyond the short-term aspect of survival. We're talking about political RP here, not direct ingame representation. Why would Bretonia allow the Ronin to survive without some basic political concessions on your part - i.e renouncing your claims on our systems?

I'm tired to repeat it, and won't do it again. WE EVEN DIDN"T START TO DO ANYTHING, how can you blame us for not doing something... if we haven't done anything at all?
We will attack gallic corps... we will be stealing their supplies, but we will keep millitary hierarchy.
It will be not pirating, but requisition of hostile resources for our needs.
