don't worry, I don't offend easy....and regarding this, everybody have right to their opinions... in 5 and something years of working on this mod i heard it all...
i took care of fighter issue in another thread....as for miner and transport, they are basically the same ship that is inspired by Firefly....if i were to update those ships i would now change the wings and only slightly cargo bay of a miner....i don't like how those look in game....they looked better in my modeling program
as for larger transport or battletransport....well...those models (miner and transport) were finished more then a year ago and i was told that IMG would use trains for large cargo movement. Back then vanilla miner was labeled as too large and everybody was asking for small mining ship but with decent cargo bay....so i created what i was asked for....granted they are acquired taste kind of ships....
Dev plan is to update mod every few months so you'll have chance to update those models if you wish...but don't ask me to do it for this or any other ship....after 4.86 is released as final product i will retire from being a developer of this mod.
Not sure if I made it at least a bit similar to Atlas...but well.

Reminds me of the Atlas. Thus it will make many people very happy.

The Parbat's cargohold could be increased to above 2k for sure, since it's great handling can't completely make up for it. Another possibility is to reduce the cargohold, buff it's turning and call it a shuttle.

The Arrastra is indeed superior to it.

A CM slot would be useful, though I personally agree with the rest.
A color change for the line with better textures would be good as well, I hear many people complaining about the current style. I myself can live with it, but heh, I still prefer the eagle anyway.
I would suggest black, grey(ish), brown, blue, bronze, silver. A combination of some of these colors would be fitting. But it must be a fitting combination.

I'd make the main texture a BIT "cleaner" and I'm not absolutly sure if black is the best color, but I'd very much prefer it over the current style of the ships. Even if, as I said, I don't "hate them".

It's on the list - I've made the model already, but it was too late in the dev cycle to balance it against the other ships. It'll basically be similar in handling to the Akegata. And as a rule, armed transports (heavy hitpoints and lots of turrets but sub-par cargo capacity) do not get CMs or CDs. Their defense is sheer firepower, not running away.
And Doom: Any chance you can get that texture update you mentioned on the tracker? I'd like to get that implemented. Shapewise, some people love and some people hate the new IMG ships - so that's just people's tastes, ignorable... but there's a consensus the textures could stand improvement.

man do you ever read messages on devs forum?.....i sent you those updated textures before second mod update...check your email that you used to register on devs forums
With all these new ships the IMG looks all set to be the new up and coming faction this season. Time to get that IMG miner/transport and avoid the rush.
Just an idea why don't we take over Omega 7 with all our new found ships and firepower and let the money roll in.
