Subject: Patrol Report - Catching up on the last while
Sergeant Page here, reporting a rather large handful of events since my last report. Due to the volume of incidents, I will keep each report brief.
In New London, I found an independent freighter, gabhor, hauling a rather large hold of Cardamine. Likely headed for Liberty, he eventually dropped his cargo and paid his fine.
With some assistance from one of our Dunkirks, and others in the SRD I was able to destroy a Corsair Osiris, named the CNS-Panama who seemed to have a little trouble with his cloak in Cambridge and New London respectively.
While next to the Pirate.Bay.Beltsy of the Green family, I was embroiled in combat with a suspicious fellow and his Gallic bomber transG. Despite the Junkers stripping his docking rights, he was able to force his way onto the station.
I was also busy with the defence effort a little closer to home - fending off the Corsair fleet besieging Port Smallwood. Despite our forces' valiant effort, we were defeated as you know...
While returning from one of these defences, I encountered a transport - designated Gandalf - filled with unlicensed Miltary Vehicles passing the Norfolk. After explaining the mistake to him, he too forced his way onto the nearby base despite my warnings not to.
Yesterday, I spent many hours in the Southampton field running surveillance and screening duties during the siege and eventual destruction of Beltsy. Engagements resulted with pirates, Gauls, Reavers, Mollys (those who weren't on our side) and even the renegade ship Argosax! My trusty Train Cruise Disruptor was very useful, allowing me to use the weapons of a Benitez, Rodrigues and another Corsair named Quinton against them, safeguarding the demolition fleet.
Since I was mostly outside the part of the field containing the leaking battleship reactors or was able to rest behind the Royal Sovereign, radiation sickness was not a problem for me.
A few days later I encountered the same ship, and called in backup, but it again refused to surrender, and somehow seemed to dock on Glasgow! I suspect it was merely a trick involving that cloaking device.

Subject: Patrol Report 18 - Trouble in Leeds; Corsair crazies
Sergeant Page reporting in on today's operations in the north of the Leeds system.
Our officers encountered 3 traders that seemed uninformed of our laws, and it wasn't even the most recent changes that caused the problems!
The first was an associate of Interspace Commerce - designated StoneDog - who was attempting to haul Silver Ore across the embargo to Planet Harris. Supposedly experiencing no problems with us before, Sergeant Renei (with a little hand from Inspector Nathan and I) was able to collect the tax and escorted him through Tau-31.
During this incident, piligrim - a Zoner Whale transport - jumped in from the Taus with a hold full of Nuclear Devices. Despite our attempts to explain the Military Licensing laws, he was unwilling to pay a fine or drop his cargo and attempted to flee back to '31. We destroyed the ship and the pilot is currently being held pending charges or release. Sergeant McAllister moved the Nuclear Devices to LD-14 for processing, and my part of the impound fee was sent to the Anvil.
In retrospect, the removal of the vessel may have been a factor in the compliance of the pilot of the StoneDog...
While returning to New London, we encountered another a Kishiro transport in orbit of Leeds. While I remained behind, Sergeant McAllister, aboard the Black.Marsh, dealt with the vessel with the help of Inspector Nathan.
We also had an encounter with several trade vessels of the Secondary Fleet Core of the Liberty Navy. Due to a paperwork oversight, there was almost a... diplomatic incident, but thankfully this was averted.
I also wish to report the destruction of a Corsair Dreadnought - the Psychotic - which was found next to the Norfolk. Ensign Jack and I realised it had taken a hyperspace survey, so despite the vessel's eventual destruction between Sprague and Freeport 1, there is a dangerous possibility of more ships jumping into Cambridge.

Quote:There are a total of five Superintendants who are in direct command of their authorized systems. In those areas, the Superintendant Jurisdiction is supreme, excluding the Leeds Superintendant who shares authority with the BAF in Leeds and the Newcastle Superintendant who shares authority with the BAF in Newcastle. Superintendants in other Superintendants regions are subject to the authority of the home Superintendant.
I would like to request to handle me the Cambridge , Manchester or New London system as my responsibility and I will administrate it and all legal matters concerning it in the name of Bretonia Police Authority with cooperation with our goverment and Bretonian authorities.
There are several interesting items in this report, which I would like to detail for you:
First; the general message of the report, that ALG nuclear devices are completely harmless, in opposition to our current restrictive laws on transporting Nuclear devices, supported by "Major Nuclear Physicists, and Universities" - But we all know anyone can call themselves a "Major Nuclear Physicist, I mean, Gaians call themselves Politicians!
Second; the subsequent attack on those laws, and through them us. Note that they say we base our laws on "False, misleading, and superstitious notions, rather than scientific facts."
And third, and most interestingly of all: The last sentance; "Supporting statements released by each of the four House Militaries". (Note its good to hear FOUR houses rather than five, at least they get SOMETHING right!) Four, that includes Bretonia. So according to this, the BAF has released a statement supporting ALG and opposing our laws. I have heard no such report, have you? Either the BAF are going behind our back, or this news report is base slander, and we should begin compiling charges at once.
I will investigate further and get back to you, thankyou.
