Hey there peeps.


Well yeah, I'm pretty sure that you know the outcome of this battle. Back then, we could not beat the Havana with two cruisers. Depends on the pilots aswell, but still.


Now this is what's happened:

Yes. I could solo the Havana in an anti-snub cruiser at point-blank range. The Havana is an Osiris equipped with order secondaries and primaries.
I think all this stuff affects RP in a bad-way. Every other faction who have SRP ships, like HF, Order and such are affected by this new system. I'm sure you guys know that this makes those ships absolutely useless. For example, you get engaged by two bombers. If you aim well, you can take at least one out with the secondaries, but poof, there goes your powercore and good luck with dodging snacs and novas for six minutes until the core recharges.

Are you serious?

Edit: The powercore is nerfed down to 10%.

Just out of curiosity, what is the power output nerf on the Havana?

Why would Order turrets be nerfed on an Order ship?

It doesn't seem that weapons make a difference.

Its the same with the Thunderbay 10 percent with order weapons on the LABC or 10 percent with no weapons onboard....

Fraid to say it.. but its looking like the more unique ships in this mod will be destined to being useless.

Aye, it's an Osiris with Order Turrets. Literally the only difference from an Order Osiris is the ID. I don't see how the Havana has an "Unfair" or particularly "Special" Loadout, and yet people who champion this Tech Nerf (Interestingly enough, themselves not having any ship that has been nerfed to this extent) claim that it prevents loadouts from being for pure PvP Advantage. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I see what you mean. If it had another type of turrets, it might cause a balance problem because the Osiris wasn't designed and balanced to use something else than Order weapons, but right now you're being nerfed for using the correct turrets on the correct ship.

Similar to the T-bay, I mostly use "special" weapons available to all, such as cerbs, LMs and Solaris... something any LABC can get... *Shrugs* guess my subpar loadout was too uber for the poor Navy to fight whom.. I never fight with.... o.o

Primarys aren't 800 m/s ... the infocard it's a lie they'r much slower
Cruisers got a very high chance to beat a BS.

BS Missile spam? CM boy.

It doesn't suprise me that Havana lost and the nerf? Double nerf for Havana (Osiris)

You're completely missing the point.

He's literally circling around me at near pointblank range. Literally, 400 Metres away, just circling around me completely alone without any other support and I can't even deshield him. The Osiris only has one heavy slot anyway, and that's for a Mortar. Even if I wanted to, I'd only be able to launch one missile before my powercore would go "lolno". Even if I can't hit him with my Primaries, that's why I have Secondaries as well. I could fire 1 Secondary every second, or 1 Primary every 2 and a half seconds. His shield regenerated too fast for me to be able to even scratch his hull.

I've flown the Havana before near the start of the Mod when the Devs more or less deactivated the Nerfs for a while. It was then that I fought two Cruisers and they couldn't even deshield me, and they weren't Cruiser Noobs mind you, they were good pilots and I was still able to give them a hell of a black eye before one of them made the mistake of coming too close and I killed him. Even with the so called Osiris "Nerf", I could hold my own without a problem. Now, I can't even de-shield a cruiser at point-blank range.

I can only see it getting better.
