I don't use missiles, but some of you like using them on LF's.
Anyway, i would agree that missiles are not really welcome on Liberators.

Liberator doesn't have enough guns anyways IMO. Then again I've always been against wasting gun spots for missiles.
I think I'll build a liberator, to supplement my Patriot. It would have been handy today, in the large battle over Manhattan. (But my patriot survived till the end)
Iâll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because itâs flag that I love
And a flag that I trust

I guess also LH~Demonic.Angel is one of those?
I met him some days ago with a fully equipped Lvl 19 Dagger, and accidentially killed him...
To face the high-level guys, though, I think I will build up a second Jack Marshall with a Liberator...

"Wait... An escape pod within an escape pod? This is like some sort of Escher painting, the eternally ejecting LPI agent." (LPI-Sean.Toronto)
Now that we have a fair amount of members, I think we should start expanding. A "LPI-SWAT-Name" team comprised of Liberators with top of the line equipment and armour upgrades and a "LPI-LPS-Ship Name" team comprised of paddywagon-like armoured transports that transport confiscated contraband to processing facilities on Police bases and perform prisoner transport on captured criminal pilots to prison stations and Navy bases.
Don't want to sound overly ambitious here, but I think we've gotten off to a very good start, and we could expand things more and expand roleplay possibilities more, within reasonable limits.
As for the penal code.. my idea is to have a board where outstanding warrants for violators of the code are posted, if they refuse to pay. They will then be hunted throughout Liberty by the LPI, SA and LSF until they pay the fine, which in some cases, is a lot lower than even the old RM fines (2 million first offence for any smuggling). The officers wouldn't keep the money, they'd have to give it to the fines office of LPI.
@Praetyre: You don't really kill anyone when you shoot down a starship because the person escapes in an escape pod. (You can tractor him in your cargo area if it is an NPC.) Different thing would be killing passengers, slaves or VIPs. Also as I've already said, low-level smugglers won't be ever able to pay the fine, I think that dropping all the illegal cargo and making him do some public works or something else would be sufficient.
@Liberator talk: If you guys decide on a loadout different from what it says in the main post, tell me so that I can change it. Talking about the equipment, I'm using only 1x Stunpulse and 3x Justice on my Patriot (I find this setup more useful). Is that all right?

The public works for the trader could more or less be equivalent to legitimately trading until he can pay the fine. Of course, murder=successful destruction of a lawful player ship, as the escape pod's fate may be unknown.
The public works make more RP sense though. And how would you force the trader to keep trading until he has enough money, then come back to pay the fine? Well, I guess you could write his name down and then wait until he comes back and if he doesn't then do something about it, but the public works way seems to be much easier to enforce to me. It also brings more diversity to the punishment system and encourages creativity among the players:).

Actually I'm not sure... I don't have anything against new members as long as they follow the rules but I believe some people thought that there are too many LPI already? Oh well, if you still like the idea go ahead and create a character, then post here so that the rest of us knows. Don't forget to introduce yourself to the rest of LPI personnel when you first meet them!
