Anyhow, just a few minutes ago, I had to experience how MM~Silent.threat lolwut-engaged a BDM ship (BDM|Rkt-Hans.Schneider) that had just come out of Connecticut. Both the BDM player and I told the MM~ player that the BDM ship is heading home from Conn, but he didn't react. Then, quite belated, he RP'd that he has a contract to do and must shoot the BDM ship. When I inRP asked him to stand down he basically said "nope."
They went at each other for a bit, and then MM~Red.Moon came along. I ooRPly asked him not to engage, but he didn't really give a crap and joined in. The BDM ship ended up suiciding against my hull.
And since then going in and out of connecticut player isn't exempted from roleplay I have full right to do what I want as long as it fits the enviroment my character is.
These are:
1) Rheinland military personel has bounty on their heads by Liberty Goverment.
2) My character is a hunter fullfilling the contract.
3) Player was informed of my characters intentions via roleplay...
Yet 3rd part could be hardly fullfilled, because target chosen to treat CD hit as an attack and start yelling in OORP, flammish manner for doing so.
I would gladly let the guy out if he would have explained the situation in pm in ethical and propriete manner. Instead the flamming was chosen. And no, I'm not going to treat someone nicely if person is not ready to do the same. Thefore I've just fallowed what my character should do in such situation and didn't made an exemption just because player is moving in or out of connecticut.
So, knowing that he was leaving Connecticut in order to go home, knowing that he didn't want to take part in PvP with you, and after being asked to stand down several times in and ooRP, you decided to attack. That sounds like a violation of 0.0.
It seems to me that you just really badly needed the pew pew, for which you could have just cruised another 5k and jumped to Connecticut.

Nope I haven't realised that he's just out of con, before you stated so. He might been from there or he might not. Anyway after he started to react in OORP way against me as a player and against entire faction it no longer mattered. I wasn't going to make an exemption then I'm allowed not to.
0.0 can be turned against him as well. Since it's not even a rule. Just a guideline. So restrain from using that one.
' Wrote:You're still missing the point where said BDM| went all flammish and rude even before the first Mando fired any shot.
Well, I didn't see who fired what first. I only read the BDM's chat about the Mando engaging without notice.
Nonetheless, the BDM didn't want to participate in anything with the MM~, so even though he wasn't necessarily friendly when he made that clear, the Mando shouldn't have gone on and fired.

He was 5k away from the Conn jumphole. I am pretty sure you were in range when I inRP thanked him for "visiting Conn." We weren't insulting or firing at eachother.

I've fired a CD at very start. By the rules firing a CD is not concidered an attack. Then gave plenty of time for a player to react before actuall shooting started. Unfortunatly, I haven't head anything except how bad I am and MM are in "//".
Yet a bit strange. Why to cry about "no-RP" then you have no intentions of RP (leaving conn) even to begin with.

While on one side I agree with you that people leaving conn shouldn't be attacked.
The BDM's first reaction was completely out of place, reacting like that to a mere CD. Not to mention the OORP in local chat, that is forbidden by server rules. I'm pretty sure that if he would had PM'd Silent Threat and explained him that with a polite tone, nothing would had happened. Yet, you treat people like crap, and crap you will get.
All what Silent got to say was, and I quote him from your SS:
"Oh"
And the BDM replied with 3 OORP lines in a completely bad tone, and I quote again:
"//Engaging without a notice" (Fired a CD which is not an engagement, and also... RP is needed, not a notice of the attack, that's Rulelawyering, and bad rulelawyering even).
"//Nice Mando Nice"
"//Awesome rp ye"
Now, you tell me who's the lolwut? The one who was following his RP.
Or the one that over reacted to a CD and started the OORP crap in local chat?
I'm trully amazed by your definition of lolwuuttery.
Also, thank you for calling us idiots. We appreciate all the feedback.
