Gut day meines dearest freunde of Bowex,
As you may or not already have heared, we have recently discovered some brand new ore deposits to mine.
The ore is getting mined perfectly, because we have some of the best specialist in the whole galaxie employed.
But the problem is, we are not that good in shipping them around.
I guess we all have our strengths and that is why we are adressing you.
The shipping reputation of Bowex is well know, even here in Rheinland.
We look very eager to discuss future agreements with you.
Kind regards,
Carl Lieberg

To: Carl Lieber, Director of transport for the Daumann Heavy Construction From: Catherine Whitte, over-secretary DO's office, Bowex Services. RE: Interest.
You have piqued Sir Cromwell's interest. The Bowex corporation is most willing to hear your offer regarding this situation; I am sure we can find a most mutually beneficial solution to your freight transit issues. We'll open a separate comm frequency for ease of access and archiving.
G'day my friends. I must say the current economy of sirius is good for buisness, very good. Altought this is a late report i will file it in.
We had a load of Dublins best ore we could find and transported it into Rheinland capital to the smelters planetside, offcourse some pirates on thelane. Whats bloody new. Turned out these were not the pirates to chat wish, Pay or we make you a few holes. *gluck* Beeing in convoy but thinley spread, my fellow skipper gave the advice to pay them, yea right they hadn't to pay the steep demand.
After the incident we headed for the capital planet of NewBerlin, from there we were ordered into the system of Munich there we had to link up with a DHC mining operation. But before we got to the miningsite we were "requested to stop" by a Bundshuh pilot, well suprised to that request we stopped at the lane edge. He stayed on a distance of 7 k and talked of his cause. He was a polite lad and we payed him a little as token for his polittness in comparrison of those brutal and aggressive uniuors we met earlier.
Fully loaded with aluminium ore for Stokes smelter we headed back, i must say a fine quality ore with a high concentration of iron elelment wich will make our engineers happy. As more the lads in the shipbuild industry.
Financial report. +120.000.000 (Start amount on the Bowex)Woodford account.) -17.000.000 (Payment to Carmen.Ibanez BMM miner) -10.000.000 (AGS-U Robbery.) -500.000 (Robbery?? Bundshuh.) +44.341.920 (Sold the ore.) -27.000.000 (Payment to DHC-Bremen.) +59.162.400 (Sold to Stokes Smelter.)

Eileen out.
I have a slight problem which is tied with, in my opinion, good progress in Taus against Gauls, pirates and dirty smugglers.
Yesterday I've shot a Ille-de-France transport, he was almost completely empty but I think that will teach him a lesson not to stick his nose into Taus. Today I've intercepted a fully loaded Slaver convoy threatening safety of all around.
I've made a short process with his Pirate Train however now I need to relocate those poor souls somewhere? Could you direct me?
- What is your full name?
Cpt Michael 'Micky' Finn.
- Where do you live?
Currently living in the City Of St Neots on Planet Cambridge
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
Worked with my Father as independent traders on his ship 'Cambridge' since I was old enough to hold a pilot's licence. Mainly trading around Bretonia, The Border Worlds, Liberty and until the war, The Tau Systems. As a family we mapped a large percentage of these systems and discovered many jump holes.
- To what division are you applying?
Shipping.
- Do you already own a ship? If so, what kind? If it is not listed above, can you afford one of the ones listed?
My Father was killed recently in the Leeds System, And as his only living relative, I have inherited the 'Cambridge' from him. She is a fine Shetland Class train with top of the range armour upgrades and shielding.
- If you are applying for the Shipping division, what would you name your ship? Why?
I would like to keep her named 'Cambridge'.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
In these uncertain times it makes sense to be part of your larger corporation. I'm a big believer in 'safety in numbers' and with the constant threat of invasion in Bretonia, it's a no-brainer. I believe I will be a valuable asset to your company, and with many years' experience not only with my ship, but with independent trading, I Think I have a lot to offer you company.
-Tell us about yourselves, what are you dislikeskes etc (minimum of 100 words)
I like and dislike many things. My closest friend runs a bar on Planet Cambridge, I tend to spend most of my spare time there, entertaining drunks with stories of hidden pirate treasure and ancient jump gates. I like 'classic' music, and love a good old fashioned Zero-G Rave. I dis-like dis-honesty. It is not tolerated on my ship. I like traveling. The further, the better. I can't get enough of the beautiful scenery Sirius has to offer. Apart from these things, there isn't a lot more to tell.

Message Begins...
Peace be upon ye, gentlefolk.
Well, today was a mixed day of sorts. It is with a heavy heart that I announce that the Ethelred has been seized and repurposed for the war effort, so I will no longer be in command of th' ship. I spoke with the man who would be her new captain, and he was a lad of strong conviction and good blood, but nevertheless, that ship was not built for war. It breaks my heart to see her off, and I pray that she is returned to me, in good repair, once she has fufilled her duty.
Still, there was good news today in the form of a message from Liberty. Apperently, several wealthy Manhattenites had heard of the plight of the Leeds refugees, and organized a charity gala of sorts to raise money and goods which they seek to send to th' camps on New London. I gladly accepted the task of transporting such cargo, and it filled me with joy to see the pile of gifts and heartfelt letters of condolence written by these people of such luxurious means to those who have so little. I am glad to see that the spirit of charity is alive and well in these dark times. Alas, I dispair that even these goods will not solve the problems that plauge the refugee camps of late. No amount of sweaters or holobands can bring joy to one's heart when crime runs rampant in the streets.
I would be in New London right now, were it not for a strange astronomical phenomena which forced my crew to moore the Cuthbert to a small outpost in Manchester. The particle storm seems to be jamming our cruise drives, and I am not sure how long we shall be waiting for the storm to pass.
McCullen Out.
This is Allycia Larson with my first day's report.
After a bit of searching, I was able to contact an old captain in Rheinland who wanted to sell his old Titanic. I bought a shuttle ticket there to review the ship, and ended up buying it. It had its problems, but nothing that can't be easily fixed. The best part is the open Operating System the old captain had installed, that makes my job of retrofitting the computers with my technology that much easier.
After I had the ship's computers in working order, I officially brought the BES Young into space under my command for the first time. I received a tip that a DHC station in Munich had a surplus of Aluminum, so I bought whatever I could fit into the Young, and started my trip back with another Bowex ship. The trip back to Bretonia showed no hostiles, and the convoy broke up in New London to go to our destinations.
After making more improvements to the systems, I bought some Super Alloys from Scarborough and made my way to Rheinland again. The trip was again peaceful, the only other ship I saw was a Bounty Hunter Orca. I dropped the alloys off at New Berlin, and picked up some engines from Oder Shipyard. The trip back was empty again, I only passed a Kruger transport. The delivery was made to Southampton where I am now.
Right now I'm waiting for the new scanner and armor plating to be installed. After that everything should be in order.
Good to hear you got yourself a ship. I assume the boys at scarborough implemented some of the Bowex Management systems into your ships computer?
Have you gotten a ships cat yet? A long lasting tradition in the bowex fleet is to have a ships cat as a reference to the old earth sailing era. A dog is something that some of the younger generation of captains have also made acceptable. The choice is yours, just don't take a badger.
Welcome to the best company in Bretonia Mrs Larson!

As you all well know, we have a contract for valuable Aluminium Ore with Daumaan Heavy Construction. Mining services can of course be requested in space should one of their vessels be seen, or via secure comms by which a request channel has been supplied. Addition to this supply channel is done on a request basis, so make sure you ask about it if you haven't already.
When contracting the services of any miner - that is, for any official contract, not just the one with DHC - the burden of evidence is always roughly the same. An example has been appended below. When recording evidence, bring up your cargo manifest (F7) to show a full load of ore. Record the time, and ensure the miner is visible in your contacts box. This data may then be used to fill out the available template.
Before I begin today's trade report, I'm happy to say that I have a new body on board. His name is Neil, a 6 month old kitten that I picked up on Planet New Berlin. I'm sure he will enjoy flying with me as I will with him.
On to the report. Today started out in a bit of a frenzy. I was going to get some refined gold from Dublin, until I was offered by a BMM ship to fill my cargo for 13 million. After I paid the miner, another BMM Hegemon and some BPA Templars went on a frenzy and started attacking my ship. Luckily, a Bounty Hunter was in the area and helped save both my and my crew's life. I already reported that incident, so the guncams will not be included, there's a lot of them.
After sitting on New London for a few hours while my ship was repaired, I set off for New Berlin. I stayed on the planet for a bit and picked up a few things, Neil included, then set off back to Bretonia. On the way home, nothing important happened, so I dropped off my cargo, and am calling it a night.
