Choppy view after update 5.

Can you guys provide details of your computer types.

Think its not a Computer/Laptop based problem, more and more people got this problem too.

I was playing a while without problems, after some hours and many cool capship explosions later there problem starts. i was thinking the laptop should be restartet but it didnt help.

Edit: Got a Dell Studio 1555 Laptop Intel Duo Core, ATI Radeon Mobile 4570 Grafic Card, 4GB RAM, Vista so more then enough Power:(

GF 9800, 2 GB ram, Dual Core Athlon.

Actually after i downloaded last version of Drivers for my graphics card i can play ok now, but still sometimes have FPS lag.

As i got it, both Nvidia and ATI users have problems. Updating drivers for video, restarting PC or reinstalling game does not help.

I've just reinstalled windows yesterday so i have a fresh installation of Freelancer also.

Radeon EAH 4870 videocard; AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0 GHz; 4 GB RAM;

I had the same problem for the first time ever. Solution? Turned the graphics down, then back up, Alt-Tabbed a few times, smacked the screen. And TA-DA!

No seriously that's what I did and now it works.

Same problem here. +getting dropped to desktop after talking to a bar npc.

Phew, already thought, I'd be the only one with that issue.

I always run Disco on my netbook without any problems. But now I'm having 10-20 fps.
Unplayable.

Don't have that problem on my desktop PC.

Can you guys provide details of your computer types.

1.6 GHz Intel Atom
Windows XP SP3
1 GB RAM
Intel GMA 950

Usually Disco ran on ~40-60 fps.

Go to the EXE directory and find the file "freelancer.ini". Open it, locate the line "hostname = gun.fllistserver.com", remove it (or put a ; in front of it) and save the file.

Start Freelancer. Does this help?
