Choppy view after update 5.

I have that issue too, Fps dimisished sensibly, i tried the thing on the .ini, it didn't worked, in fact went even worse, and everytime i quit FL, the Widows admin panel detects it soaking CPU... not only that, each time you re enter into FL an quit, adds another CPU-soaking FL at the Win Administrator... while the game is quitted... everything goes alright when you force the end to the process from the pannel... al of this happens since last update:(

I've got this problem as well. Everything was running smoothly until earlier today then all of a sudden I get FPS drops and it runs pretty choppy. No lag, just FPS lowered substantially. According to the others here I shouldn't even bother trying to fix it right now since no one else can.. oh well.

Hmmm.. seems like an intermittent problem.

I switched to my BS earlier and when I was flying around I was getting really bad stuttering. It was okay when I flew in a straight line but whenever I turned or rotated the camera in turret view it would start stuttering hard.

But I just logged it again now and I'm flying around and it's fine? Derp.

Whenever it happens to me I just Alt+Tab a few times and slide the graphics bar up and down. Fixes it every time.

And it's definitely something new with this update, never had it happen before.

Same problem i even sent you a pm cannon...now i found the post...fps drop after 20-30 seconds after login and freelancer.exe persists after quit via alt+f4 or simply f1...it seems isnt a user pc related problem..its from the mod filles...but wich one?

EDIT: forgot to mention...the procces eats 100% cpu so its not a gpu related problem...just a computing one

Yea everything under [ListServer] has three semicolons. Still no improvement.

I don't know what changed, really.. It just sort of happened out of nowhere.

Happens on random shipa, ia there for a minute or two accompanied by 4-8% lag, then poofs.

This may also be a FAM issue. I used to have a similar problem and i discovered that another freelancer.exe was running - this happens when i switched accounts in FAM.

My game was freezing and lagging like hell: Impossible was play,

I discovered by exiting freelancer and opening Task Manager that there was a second freelancer.exe running. I terminated that freelancer.exe in Task Manager and i entered ingame and all is good now.

I think therefore that when you are switching between accounts in Fam then just sometimes freelancer.exe doesn't shut down correctly and can cause lagging with two freelancer.exe's running at the same time.

Now its better for me, but i will always check Task Manager first if my picture is freezing.

First note, FAM. I have the issues, but dont have fam installed. I switch accounts with the disco launcher. Aside from that, I've been launching freelancer.exe straight from the folder with same issues.

As for the alt tab and task manager, it had worked once for me. Second time......actually froze my computer
