the ship is modelled in a way that it is a design based on the train - but heavier armored and possibly heavier armed.

since we do have some small transports that are simply unused and not quite pretty ( X-shuttle ) - such a ship might replace them as a generic medium sized transport

think of it as a lawful version of the pirate transport. ... good cargo capacity and not as well armed as a container class transport - but smaller and much more agile.

Looks great. Fits good to the civilian shipline.

But, I wouldn't use it as replacement for the X-Shuttle (which is also no transport type). It should be replaced with something borderworld-ish, which is flown in the Edge/Borderworlds.

Or just make it a new import as "Civilian Battletransport".

but the x-shuttle is pretty much generic anyway. - in terms or lore, the x-shuttle would vanish when replaced. so its rather about taking its identity ( ID number and ship slot )

regarding to the server statistics, the x-shuttle is almost as rarely used as most unique ships. but its not restricted to any ID as far as i know... i m not even sure if its associated with kusari at all.

Does not touch the X-shuttle unless you make good model for it.
It is still interesting ship because it is/was? the only freighter capable of mounting MR. X Shuttle could be really good ship if it got new model and small bots/bats/hull buff, does not kill it. Just take the nose part of this ship, swap some engines to it and you got new X-shuttle model, it would fit the civilian line together with this.
You could just add the ship without killing it, it requires a bit of work indeed.
This ship looks nice, rough copy the P-transp cargo and stats and make it civilian generic, so everyone would be able to use it, does not forget the CD/CM slots. Also remove the strange antenna thing- it makes the ship ugly and it is bad for the hitbox.
You could call it Gannet or other sea-bird name to fit the lore:

Might make a nice mining ship. Hegemon should become static mining platform and this would be a good flyable miner to balance the Kamome.

If it ends up as a cargo ship, it should use the same containers. Its alright for them to be mounted laterally.

Mounts for vanilla cargo pods, please; and bring the cargo pods forward. The gap between the start of the cargo pods and the back of the transport's hull is unnecessary, as are the cargo pods hanging off the end.

I absolutely LOVE the design of this Jinx, as someone who is a huge fan of the aesthetics of the train line.

I'd have to agree with Echo, though, making it use the cargo pod system would be a huge bonus to it. I'd love to see it get in as an alternative train, it's beautiful!
