RSI announcement? Explain...
And no, I'm not calling class 1 turrets overpowered - but I find it insulting to other factions who do not have a forward firing turret capable fighter to have those who have access to the Sabre be able to work with that turret, while others are out of options as far as getting a 700m/s shieldbuster. These factions include: Zoner, IMG, Bretonia Lawfuls, Colonial Remnant, Xenos. Balance requires a level playingfield, if there's no class 8 pulse gun at 700m/s, there shouldn't be a turret at that speed either. Again, personally, I'd create pulse guns AND pulse turrets at 50m/s speed increments from 600m/s through to 750m/s - and use the weapon speed to prevent a perfect lineup with the hullbusters. Setting those guns to a 0.16 refire delay (Firing rate 6.25) should do the trick nicely.

Do something to Order, Corsairs, Council, BHG, GMG, BD, civilian, LR, Red Heassians, LN, KNF, GC, Gaians, SCRA guns instead - they have their speeds sync'd with shieldbusters they are used with.
Overpovered? Overpowered.
Also, Osprey and Modly Crow have forward firing turrets. Eagles and Falcons turrets shoot -almost- forward and are useful in sliding. Titans turret is useful in sliding in widescreen mode.
Oh, nearly forgot that Renzu fighter with 2 forward firing turrets.

Just for my own understanding here... we are talking about the ships that Massdriver was making to replace the IMG shipline, and they are going to be used as replacements for the RT and Waran instead? That would certainly solve a couple of problems.
But if that's the case then I'm curious how they are going to be made as sister ships from the same line? Current infocard text says the RT is made by the IMG while the Waran is made by the Red Hessians and sold on the black market. Neither makes much sense already, and it makes even less sense that they will start sharing production lines. Both of them already have VHF and heavy bombers, so its already bad, it just worse if you consolidate them into one or the other.
Maybe transfer both lines to the Junkers? That would allow for sale channels to lawful and unlawful alike. The Waran is already sold on junker stations so it would make some sense from a fiction POV. That new junker shipline doesn't have a heavy bomber either, right? so there is room to believe that they would make one. The only issue is figuring out how to transfer ownership of the RT production to the junkers.
The lanes in Frankfurt got a slight adjustment and the Bundy base was moved. This resulted in the Munich lane erroring out 'cause I hadn't aligned it properly after the resize (that lane was shortened since it was much longer then it needed to be). After setting the proper rotation on all lane nodes, the lane worked normally.
Ursus: The ships will become true civilian. Means anyone (except Gallia and Nomads) can use them. In that respect they'll be no different from the current Waran/Ravens Talon. Infocards will be adjusted a little, it'll make sense. Different junker ship models for the LF and VHF have already been supplied to me - I'm working to ready those for use in the mod.
Dev update:
- Did some minor work on fixing a few trade shortcuts through jumpholes, reported by Xoria.
- Relocated the York to New London. Seems we're going with the "all bases in Leeds fall to Gallia" option, so all bases there (except for the smuggling point behind Leeds Planet) fall to Gallia.

As it stands only LD14 (protected by a single BS) and a dockable smuggling point behind Planet Leeds remain accessible to anyone hostile with Gallia. All other bases are either destroyed, moved (in case of BS) or captured.
So this has been changed for the "all bases fall to Gallia" scenario? Let's hope Rheinland don't get too annoyed about the Hessian thing then...
