Try something more star spherie. and maybe replace that pelican with a heron. This sig looks to happy and too corporate like the USI sig, which is not proper for this one IMO. edit: this applies to the concept button in the 3rd example.
the signature should have a menacing feel to it (like the logo itself), I just don't feel the vibe here. red and black instead of white and blue might work better.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to be a nitpick about this until its the way i want it, so i'll make sure you get a generous enough tip even if i end up not taking you up on this at all.
(also, snubs should be a bit smaller just to give perspective for the larger ships.)
edit: i like how you handled the banner btw.
2nd edit: i edited the OP, I think the character profile is too much a distraction for now, as it is really secondary to the sig (it can stay in the template, but i'd like something that can easily look good with 2d studd like this; http://i.imgur.com/I1slQ.jpg )
Can you try making these variations: all of them as seperate experiments
the QCP logo takes up the hole space in its section: (here you left a little open space)
Instead of the Queen's Privateers, type, Queen Carina's Privateers
shire instead of train please
a more menacing font
it looks like you removed colors altogether, I dont think the sig needs to look like that, If you can somehow make a colorized background that can look good, while not being corporate, that would definitly be a boon
again, all of these points in a separate image as you have been doing thus far, sorry for the trouble
as a side note, aside from the 430 million (extra 30 is for the trouble thus far), how much would you charge for the psd/xcf file?
last two look wonderful, minus the "right section," but im sure you already know that
for the generic, I dont want a character profile, I hope you can get that fixed as well,
also, if you can restore color to my own char profile, that would be good as well xD
I'm curious how you will handle the buttons. But if you need extra room to increase the size of the sig, I wont restrict you to use a rectangle if you know what i mean
so to reiterate
needs a version without a character profile
buttons might need new space. Expanding the sig size to accommodate room, might warrant to reshape the sig into an exotic shape, but not necessarily restricted to a particular one
character names, and maybe a quote should be placed where the current buttons are. maybe the other way around, but this boils down to what's easier to implement
