Zoners are just neutral people in my opinion. They stay within their own little group, and trade. They don't favor anyone over anyone else. I like to think of them as that one guy who is neutral neutral on futurama.

Being neutral really. You don't have pirates going crazy over you, but you also don't have lawfuls going nuts over you. There is no reason for people to track you down and hunt you down AND put bounties on you if you are a zoner. Zoners are just neutral dudes. Til you piss them off.

You know. I really don't know. I guess the most important thing for a Zoner in the Sirian community is bigger threats. Since some Zoners don't appear as a threat, the different parts of the Sirian community will go after bigger fish if it's pirating and such. As with lawfuls, I don't really see how the Zoner really needs anything important besides just being neutral. Though, I am going to ask yuki after I post this, and look like an idiot. But you wanted the truth. Tis all I can give you.

i am a trader i have lived most of my life on Freeport 11. My mother and i escaped from the nomads from Primus. I was a small boy at that time. So still i fear the nomads. Been living all this time on Freeport 11. When i got my flying license i went to explore the universe. Running first from the nomads and after some time i came within Baffin. I encountered a pilot under the name Eric Stone there. And was impressed. So i decided after a long talk to join and hope to get also some nice Robes as he has.

Alex Hammond was born and educated on Planet Manhattan. His family owned a small trading company that usually did independent trading contracts, so after he graduated from the University of Manhattan he got involved has second in charge in flying and maintaining his families trading company. After falling hill his father stepped down from the family company and Alex raised to the challenge. After receiving a non rejectable proposal by Interspace Commerce to buy is small company Alex accepted so that he could join something even bigger. However after a while he gave up the trading business and sold is small stake. He remained incognito until now.
