Salut, L'Unione Corse.
Today has had more strangeness involving Sirians than I would have liked,
as shown in the following chatlogs and guncam images.
Incident Un
Firstly, a civilian-ID Bretonian vessel, trying to smuggle artifacts out of Gallia.
I asked him to either drop the cargo or pay a simple fine, a generous offer
considering how the Royal Police or Navy would treat him, yet he refused
and opened fire. Had he survived, he would now be regretting his decision
to underestimate L'Unione Corse.
The timestamps appear to be invalid for this particular log, however.

[30.07.2012 21:14:38] Sider: hmm
[30.07.2012 21:15:00] [UC].Arek.Maxim: And in a Bretonian vessel, of all things?
[30.07.2012 21:15:04] Sider: I dont know ... For money?

[30.07.2012 21:15:43] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Drop the cargo, or pay 5mil.

[30.07.2012 21:16:30] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Your vessel class says you can afford it, monsieur.
[30.07.2012 21:16:44] [UC].Arek.Maxim: The cheaper option, believe me, is the cargo.
[30.07.2012 21:16:49] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Your decision.
[30.07.2012 21:16:54] Sider: What? sorry I dont understand

[30.07.2012 21:17:25] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Non, monsieur. 5mil or the cargo.
[30.07.2012 21:17:29] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Or, the hard way.
[30.07.2012 21:17:49] Sider: 5 milion is so much for me sorry

[30.07.2012 21:19:28] Death: Sider was put out of action by [UC].Arek.Maxim (Gun)
[30.07.2012 21:19:36] Sider: what?
[30.07.2012 21:19:39] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Such is the result, monsieur.
Incident Deux
After linking up with the UCN Vixxeon, and a brief dialogue with a Valor
captain claiming to have incorrect navigation logs (and a strange dialect. Probably from Orleanais),
we investigated a pair of vessels heading deep into Gallia Core space. An
Escort, Rheinland vessel by the appearance, and a Gallic Assault transport
carrying processed Beryllium of all things.
We caught up with the vessels in Maine and interrogated them, but took no further action.

[30.07.2012 21:58:55] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Monsieur. Care to explain what you're doing here?
[30.07.2012 21:59:05] Dark_sky: escorting
[30.07.2012 21:59:16] Dark_sky: why u persueing?
[30.07.2012 21:59:48] Dark_sky: pirates?
[30.07.2012 21:59:54] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: Your disruption of the trade lanes only made us more curious as to why you are here
[30.07.2012 22:00:18] Rifty: hes with me
[30.07.2012 22:00:19] [UC].Arek.Maxim: And a civilian-identified Taureau carrying Beryllium is even stranger.
[30.07.2012 22:00:30] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Thats a Troop transport, not cargo, monsieur.
[30.07.2012 22:00:36] Dark_sky: you showed sign of persuet, my goul was to get the trader here safely
[30.07.2012 22:00:41] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: They must've mined it back at Tau 23
[30.07.2012 22:01:10] Dark_sky: that is legal here 2 right?
[30.07.2012 22:01:12] [UC].Arek.Maxim: The scan I recorded showed it was processed.
[30.07.2012 22:01:34] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: Bought it then. WHy go all the way out here? [30.07.2012 22:01:59] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: Well, we can't pirate them here. [30.07.2012 22:02:07] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: But we can tell them to beat it.
[30.07.2012 22:02:11] Dark_sky: exploring [30.07.2012 22:02:28] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Yep. Definitely that option with an excuse like that.
[30.07.2012 22:02:34] Dark_sky: pirates hey?
[30.07.2012 22:02:38] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: In a place where almost everything shoots at you?
[30.07.2012 22:02:38] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Monsieurs, I hear that excuse everyday from Sirians.
[30.07.2012 22:02:57] Dark_sky: well their aim sucks
[30.07.2012 22:03:00] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: And first you claimed to be tradesmen, not explorers.
[30.07.2012 22:03:13] [UC].Arek.Maxim: Quite contradictive, oui?
[30.07.2012 22:03:17] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: Chaging your story?
[30.07.2012 22:03:20] Dark_sky: I do wat my ID says
[30.07.2012 22:03:27] Dark_sky: freelance
[30.07.2012 22:04:30] Rifty: hes just a freelancer helping me trade my ore
[30.07.2012 22:04:34] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: As a freelancer, who's obviously been around enougj, you have to know this sort of run isn't very profitable
[30.07.2012 22:04:51] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: It takes a long time...
[30.07.2012 22:05:10] Dark_sky: sounds like somthing i said to my friend here
[30.07.2012 22:06:17] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: Well, we're not going to pirate you. Not here at least.
[30.07.2012 22:06:19] Dark_sky: dont shoot!
[30.07.2012 22:06:27] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: Hmm?
[30.07.2012 22:06:40] [UC].Arek.Maxim: //That was the lane.
[30.07.2012 22:06:45] Dark_sky: did u shoot?
[30.07.2012 22:06:45] [UC].Arek.Maxim: //You moved too close.
[30.07.2012 22:06:53] Dark_sky: oh haha
[30.07.2012 22:07:11] [UC]-UCN-Vixxeon: Anyway, you two should leave now.
[30.07.2012 22:07:18] Rifty: ok Dark we best be off
[30.07.2012 22:07:29] Dark_sky: okey thanx time to dodge bulets again
That is all for this report.

Just a brief report on the status of Project 'Aile grève'. Since the launch of the UCN-Libra, profit margins have risen by 65%, and our operations have expanded beyond the Gallic front-line. Cargo routes have been organized, with more being prepared at this time. All other information has been sent via Sky-P3 comm sats.
That's all for this brief report, messieurs.

Rank Adjustment Time!
I would like to welcome Auguste Roux as a new Aspirant. Ethan Shadow and Chloe Durand, you hereby are promoted from Aspirant to Membre. Jason Osrini, Treiz D'Keur, and Chloe Durand, you have been made Tribuns of the Famille Senat, serve it well.
Trade Deals
The Independent Miners Guild have come to a trade agreement with us, bringing even more profit.
I have been working with Interspace Commerce over an agreement, and with luck that will be concluded soon.

Im penniless, rotten in a fight, and have authority issues, but im back!
Bonjour, Union Corse.
A quick security notice, as our Neural-Net frequencies went down due to one of the heaviest ion-storms this year.
We've increased our vehicle security codes to ensure the utmost protection for our pilots in order to prevent theft or identity forgeries. Remember to check the Sky-P3 communications if you somehow misplace your codes.
Fortune favor us all. Commandant Arek Maxim

Jaques, one of L'Epee II's pilots, returned from Kusari today, so I'll be on board operating the usual profiteering runs within the borders.
While he was away, I took a moment to encrypt the following transmission; I'm not sure if this man is crazy or not for publicly calling out his claims against the Kingdom, but I've laid out the foundations for future communication should it prove worthwhile.
On the economic side of things, I'm pleased to report our operations have doubled, non... almost tripled our reserves since last month. Also, our database for contracts, and other ways for our membres to gain some trafficking experience, is now available on our database via the Sky-P3 communique.
That's all for now.

Commandant Maxim
Merci for dealing with monsieur Parsons. His sources are unusual, so proceed carefully.
Promotions Lucas Ricard and Auguste Roux, you are now full membres of l'Unione Corse. Furthermore, Lucas Ricard, l'Famille Senat has recognized your efforts by electing you as a new Tribun.
Frequent Raids
It would seem that the dirty Outcasts have made it a habit to strike at the IMG in Tau-37. We must provide our assistance to the IMG should they need it, so tune into the proper Sky - P3 channels for more information.
Logarus out.

Jaques Litner took command of the Libra for the Lane-Hacker operations while I was in Tau-29 aboard the Vendeur, so most of this report comes from the data he sent to me.
The Libra departed Dauphine and rendezvoused with Nicole Hunter in Tau-23 with the Hypnotainment Band shipment before proceeding through Kusari to the Kepler system. After that I'm told she assisted in modifying the Libra's IFF transponders to allow it to dock with their installation in Gallileo, Leiden Base.
From there the Libra and three transport ships, all carrying Counterfeit software, journeyed back through Kusari and Tau space before arriving in Languedoc, re-grouping at Lodeve Spaceport. After that they took a shortcut through Corse System to reach Monaco Base in Provence with haste, as one of their pilots was falling asleep at the helm and liable to collide with an asteroid.
I've been informed by the station administrator that they've been granted rooms in Deck 8, and free reign of decks 6-9 for the duration of their stay. This should keep them clear of the Gunship-Engineering level and Nox-Laboratories while allowing them access to the bars and Nox dealers on Level 6, they also informed Litner they would be sampling it while there.
My apologies for being brief with this transmission, but I have important work to get to...
Aspirants Gardon and Starsunder, your work is worthy of the rank of Membre, and therefore you both are promoted to the said rank. Good luck.

With the current festivities of the Holiday season spreading across both Sirius and Gallia, traffic on the lanes is expected to be quite low.
As such, I'll be taking the Vendeur 1 Vache transport out on the 25th to gather as many profits as possible. Anyone else willing to ditch the wine for a wallet full of Francs is welcome to tag along; I'm sure the parties on Marseille and Monaco will still be in full swing by the next day, and the first round of the evening is on me.
