I was considering creating a GMS Mining character, as I find that area of sirius to be a nice quiet retreat sometimes. What I can't work out though is where to mine. I have check the numerous mining guides on the forums and it seems that only the major and well known spots are included, there is no mention of Gallic space. So, if anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated

Don't hide in empty Gallia, but add something to one of the main hubs of Disco: Miny Berrly in T23 southern fields and face other players, and roleplay, pews and interaction in general

I have been playing this game for years. Every now and then i need to get away from the populated areas and just kick back. I can only take so much

Or he could mine in Gallia and see if that tempts some pirates out there, which in turn kickstarts the lawful activity cycle.
It would appear that you can't mine Aluminium ore in Gallia. At least, not in the Picardy field that the wiki points to. So I guess my original question still stands. Where can I mine in Gallia?

Having tried mining in Gallia, I have not found anywhere that yields much. You will become old before you get a hold full. That is why the nearest mining to Gallia is Tau 23.
'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person
Get yourself on Companion to take a look at some of the fields available.
The yields are pretty low in Gallia, only 2 or less (compared to 3 or so on the more popular fields according to Companion's scale). You will have peace most of the time, and if you can gather people to help (or join GMS|) it will go faster and be more enjoyable.

EDIT: Nevermind, all sorted
Hy!
What do you mean all sorted? Did you find a good spot?
