Other day i chased a rogue to a POB, who then docked, and a LSF came out, and told me this was LSF base, and Navy were not wanted near it. How the Frack is that RP?
A base name would be nice. I'm sure the [LN] would love to gun it down if its made by some random indies that didn't ask for permission.
Would seriously like to know, especially if you have screenshots of the unlawful docking there. You can PM with screens if you like or put it RP via Comm channel. We don't like that kind of facility in Liberty! [LN] then can resolve it RP wise.

This here is why i will not reveal the name, or location of base. I am sick of a Bunch of players/ Skype group/ Faction or what ever deciding who can, and cannot do what in a game.
This is Discovery, and i came here originally because any player could buy/fly whatever they wanted. Not anymore. Now players decide who can, and cannot do what. This is why i say game has changed for the worse.
Sure maybe base is OORP(acctually way out) but hell i see bases that did get this BS "permission" OORP too. So i will not in anyway support these "elitest" groups deciding crap. It was built(obviously without LN knowege) so i say good for them. +1 for the indies(if they are indies)
This is another reason i agree bases are fail. Players should need admin aproval to build, not a group of players.
just make it require more RP to build maintain and run the bases thats all and it will be fixed.
Also add ways so admins can see who can dock and change it if needed if you have a lawful base should not dock unlawful character on that base unless have exactly the proper and lots of RP to go behind it

and noone can complain on how OORP bases are in liberty when RP for liberty is low when it comes to hostiles my opinion is if a LABC came in contact with a RNC for example there should be more RP dosnt always have to end in PVP and PVP deaths you can both go away no scratches if you RP it enough people seem to forget that it dosnt always have to PVP between enemies even if they have a bounty on their heads they should be able to RP there way out if they can
I think its not the player bases or whats in the game and stuff its the players that doing everything players control how everything turns out in game so things are fixible by the players them self
damn forgot what else i was going to say oh well this is good for now

Not the bases are a problem, the players are, the bases just make it easier to disturb other players.

A few bases cause(d) problems, but these problems should be solved on an individual basis (irp or oorp) instead of critizising the complete addition of POBs.

Resume: There is no problem with POB in general. There are probs with a few. These few should be worked at.
I agree with him here.
Oh and btw. i wouldn't have a problem with rogues & navy docking my base unless they see each other doing so.

true I wouldn't mine either but i would require them to have an RP story or background to go with docking there ^_^

rogues and LN can both dock at zoner bases. But claiming the base is LSF - Well thats a sanction on the rogue character.
Bases like GC KC and itibashi are self-defeatist.
GC: a molly base. Power trader bob delivered a cargo to gran canaria, and now has a trip up to kusari. He cannot go through Dublin, because the base insta-pops him, so he travels through the omegas/sigmas - where he pays tax to the corsairs. End result? less traffic in dublin, less money circulating in molly economy, mollies have to spend more time mining/trading, which they cannot do on wolfhounds, and so there is less time to suppy the base, resulting in less server time for [M] faction, and possibly leading to activity warnings.
KC: this is a lawful-friendly base, and my trader skips past it happily. However, my corsair char has to jump around like an epileptic flea if i'm anywhere near it. unlike the base in Om3, near the gate with Om7, KC is a little too close to the jumpgate. It should be the same distance away as glasgow border station.
Why? becos pirates are the raison d'etre of police. if there are no criminals, all the policemen lose their jobs.
Itibashi: Selling to teh Hogs was very silly. Aside from the minutae of Kusarian Lore, which doesn't concern 90% of the server as there are very few community members with Kusarian Characters, the Hogosha are the equivalent of Junkers, Junkers do not build their stations in front of manhatten.
Why does this base need to be moved? my lawful trader, who i've been flying since 2008 and is neutral with all factions except GC, flew past the base one day. It was red and angry and shot at me, because my rep was bugged. I don't take that route anymore, and so there is even less activity in kusari.
Solution one:
caps caps and more caps, remove the offending bases.
solution two:
sensible and mature discussions leading to admin intervention of relocating the bases. This might have to be done by deleting the base and installing another slightly further away, and involve a bit of restocking, but this is a double advantage:
if the bases need restocking, this contributes to the activity.
if the bases are moved, this contributes to the activity
