Answer these? Otherwise I seriously think Jack needs to change his opinion because you really should get generic ID's in my opinion. Even if that sacrifices bonus, because bonuses's are NOT the reason you should roleplay a unlawful mining faction.

Haha, you need to get your facts right mate. Humbolt is not part of Liberty space. Liberty makes no claim of humbolt, you do not need to apply for a permit to build a base there. And if you read their RP they admit to dipping into unlawful actions. I think it's rather interesting RP and wish them good luck with new base. And in now way are they better off with Molly ID. That is sooo much more oorp than being unlawful side of IMG. Besides Molly's can only mine gold anyways.
Having all those IDs your not a faction, just a group of friends together, and as such the TAG will mean nothing. You will be treated according to your ID at the time. So pick a dam ID, and stick to it. This IMG/MINER/JUNKER/FREELANCER bla bla bla is BS. Factions get 1 ID, and thats all folks.

We've never mined in the taus, but we have mined in O-7. But since when would it be against the rules for us to mine in these locations in the first place?

IMG ID is the official ID. Miner ID and Freelancer ID are not any faction ID, so that's no issue. UMG's actual role is almost exactly the same as Junkers, so I don't see how that ID should be an issue. The purpose of allowing a Junker ID is because when people see IMG, they think "lawful pigs" and have no idea that UMG is actually there to serve them... So having somebody along with a Junker ID would make it a little easier to explain to people who hadn't read the forums yet, who UMG actually is. Considering the rules of the faction itself -- No violent crimes, including piracy, by members, this would completely eliminate the possibility of members switching to Junker ID's for kusari piracy, or switching to IMG for tau/omega piracy. We don't allow piracy, so you don't have to worry about people switching between those two ID's for it. If we were using IMG + BMM ID's, THEN I could understand your viewpoint, but we're not.
This could be solved with a UMG ID that doesn't make us look like lawfuls, but the odds of us getting a faction ID are pretty slim, so we'll have to have a junker with us simply to explain our less lawful side. We can't actually use the Junker ID's on our miners, because, well, Junkers don't mine ore, and the whole point of making this faction was to have a semi-unlawful ore-mining faction.
But, fine, if you're going to moan for 4 pages about multiple ID's, none of which are diplomatically tied to any house, then fine, I've removed the generic ID's, quit complaining.

You cannot land on IMG because you broke away. It would be OORP as you technically left the company to start your own mining company.

Sanguine, there is always the option that we don't attack them (ooRP or inRP). "Broke away" might be a bit strong but you can work out what Inferno means. They'd be classified as closest to indy miners, who we can't pirate. However, as the 'more lawful part of the Guild', IMG| wouldn't bother - only taking action when they actually cause trouble for us (which going to Humboldt greatly decreases the chances of happening).
Even then, when was the last time we ever pirated BMM, Kruger or Daumann after the turf wars? There are already plenty who do that. Try not to represent the IMG| as the aggressive territory-claiming group it used to be with full Colonial support.

We're still IMG. Attack people with the same ID as yourself, see what happens. You're just raging and trying as hard as you can to find an excuse to hate. Get out of the thread, you've been doing this for many pages and you're not doing anything good. The leader of IMG was okay with it, so if you're not, go fight your own leader.

We don't have "so many". We have two ID's both of which have a very similar role. And we're UMG, not IMG. UMG is a semi-unlawful mining faction. You know who the junkers are? A semi-unlawful scrap-mining faction. We're based in humboldt. Junkers are based in puerto rico, which has a jump hole into humboldt. You don't see why the junkers and UMG would go hand-in-hand?
Sure, go ahead, make fake reasons to kill us, this just shows, you're not in it for the RP, you just want to kill people because you're holding out a grudge for no actual reason.
Just like the other guy, you've been going at this for several pages without actually saying anything useful. Get out, you're not helping anything. Go ahead, fly in and silent engage us, satisfy your need to feel like the big boy. That feeling will last you quite a while until you lose the ship.
The idea is fine, but I dont see the really reason behind it, since IMG can act like you at the moment. They can serve semi-unlawfull groups in their current form.
Trying to leave them and start an own busines could be fine if you change their main role. Until that there is no really reason to make a new group, but this is just my opinion.
About the IDs. Like or not, that is a common rule. Just 1 ID per faction. If you would like to mix them, go and make an official faction where you can make your own ID. Until that you must keep yourself to the 1 ID per faction rule.
InRP you can mix the junker and IMG behaviour somehow, but using multiple IDs in the same faction is a big no.
The rule is only concerning official factions and still has room for secondary IDs (for example, Miner ID for a small Scrap bonus compared to the 0.25 for invalid setup) - it's generally just a guideline for other factions. I don't personally see the need to use Junker ID when you can just use RP to differentiate yourselves from IMG|, instead of semi-ooRP means.
The base and different operation zone is a good step for that.
