Bitch at me all you want, but I made that call. What to know why? Because as my duty as a member of the LSF I will do whatever it takes to stop Liberty being overrun by unlawfuls.
Now, your whining would be justified if you had fighters only, but you also had capships. And so you lot are whining because we managed to get more caps than you. My heart bleeds.
P.S. These swarms of "Random" caps i apparently called in was a BH Battleship and something else. Bounty Hunters. Not Randoms.
You guys should take a step back. Especailly you, RParade, you got plenty others to shout at rather than those that try to RP and do a pretty good job. And RP can be done in any way the author wants it. It is not for you to decide what his RP does. Some follow a set line, others are more free flowing, and some are done ingame. But at no time are you, my friend, in a position to dictate to others how they can and can't do things around here.
The problem in Liberty is the same if not slightly less than the problem in Omicron Gamma. None of the independant caps in Gamma, bar one or two, are flown with any incling of skill, and the loadouts most use are very dire indeed. But this doesn't change the fact that, in Gamma, there is almost always an independant cruiser, and 3-6 independant cruisers or gunboats at peak times.
Its Liberty, Corsairs and Bounty Hunters who have this main problem. And the correlation is this exactly. Both the BHG and the Libertonians have Battlecruisers, which are the Cruisers that aren't completely vulnerable to everything. The Corsairs, on the other hand, are just very popular, as they are most commonly associated with the generic Pirate, and therefore easiest to get used to.
They attacked us at Rochester. The Destroyer was coming from Buffalo toward the end of the fight but then returned under my orders.
Although the Liberty lawfuls seem to know where all of our bases are nowadays. Thier reason being that they have, apparantly, chased us back there enough times or something along those lines. We regularly see people camping out Buffalo and Alcatraz.
' Wrote:@ niezk They attacked you at BUFFALO??? They dont know where BUFFALO is, do they??? That in it self is rediculas.....
The authorities should know where every pirate base in liberty is by now... at the first sight of law enforcement, the pirates lead us straight there, all the time...
Iâll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because itâs flag that I love
And a flag that I trust

This type of thing keeps happening because people in cap ships are bored silly from sitting around with nothing to do. They can't fight fighters in them effectively unless they just happen to get lucky, and they can't really trade in an efficient way because of the cargo hold size (not that it would be good roleplaying to trade in a battlecruiser anyway). The unlawful ones can't pirate in them either. So they sit around waiting for a hint of a fight that they actually can engage in.
Connecticut is available right there from NY. Perhaps people with cap ships should make greater use of it to get the boredom out of their veins. And you lawfuls in NY should not hassle unlawfuls who are honorably heading there in order to do so. Give them an escort to make sure they are indeed going there, sure.
So how about that? Start inviting these independents to Connecticut for some fun and let's stop complaining about each other.
Speaking of which, I would hate to have someone collect a bounty on me after a fight that took place in CT that was for this purpose. Anyone know if that is permissible?
