Ship History: History form this ship is very short since he has been manufactured a few hours ago, but i must say, that he has already been in action. Just before i sent this transmission
i assisted a Fafnir in suppressing Liberty invasion and i have been surprised that a Liberty Siege Cruiser and LABC were unable to take down my shields.

Defence in Hamburg system, Training and Systemtest in Braunschweig. From time to time show of force at Rheinland core systems, when ever possible with at least 1 escort craft, should never be in service/action without an escort.
Ship History:
It´s origin is unkown, former registration could not be optained from the ships datacore. It was recouverd from a former staging ground, was in bad condition as it was found.
No one in the military had known about it.
Only some minor data was found left in the ships systems, no information about crew, commander or last status.
Hull showed several marks of battledamage, were these came from, no one could tell or find out.
Overhauled at Alster Shipyard and now part of the Reserve-Fleet it is still not full combat ready, shipsystems need further testing and crew training is also on the go.
Never the less, it had to stand against an invasion fleet from liberty allready, caused by weapon and system failures it had to retread from planet Hamburgs orbit back to the shipyard.

669 A.S. - One year after the GMG-catastrophe in Sigma-13 the Rheinland Military High Command decided to grant ressources to project "F.L.A.B.-S.L.A.B." (float like a butterfly, sting like a bee).
The main idea was to develope a heavy armed and armored but agile Warship.
702 A.S. - The year of the "Popular Revolution", after 33 years developing, welding, testing, rewelding and balancing the prototype of project F.L.A.B.-S.L.A.B. was named "Borna" and left the Alster shipyard. Not a moment too soon. A unioner squad attacked Alster from the Alsterfeld in the hope of steeling the prototype.
Perfect test situation for this ship. The Borna easily blew these vessels up. From that moment the the Borna was a really enrichment for the Rheinland Military.
800 A.S. - When the nomad invasion starts, some of the most loyal elite soldiers decided to don't hand over the Borna to infected Militaries. They decommissioned the Borna and transfered it to a civilian rheinland family.
812 A.S. - The Borna was reactivated to support the today's Rheinland Military. The actual owner is the last offspring of the "civilian family" - Carl Philipp Gottlieb von Clausewitz, professor of the military academy on New-Berlin. In Result of the 12 year break, the Borna is not anymore so preternaturally, but still powerful.
To lower the costs the communication systems of the Borna are quite spare (compared to actual standards) and the engines aren't up to date to.
In 817 (the next five year inspection) they will be updated.
Following the newer Rheinland naming conventions the Borna became renamed to RNC-Borna.
