Keep in mind that the K'hara will be the ones that can go anywhere they want. Ones that can have access to the Irra and Marduk.
You have less restrictions if you put the effort in. Most people may just be lazy and not bother, who knows.
Recruitment will remain open for those who want it.
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

Direct combat never was a Nomad strong-suit. Remember the unshielded aliens from SP? The ones with weak hulls? About average guns? The ones that had to use human proxy forces to fight each other? The only massive advantage they had was cloaking, which just plays into the deceptive sneakiness theme, as opposed to direct confrontation.
Still, will be funny seeing the "Nomad UP" threads popping up after so many years of complaints to the contrary.

Same situation as the Coalition and SCRA - the faction has lost its exclusive monopoly on the ships and ID, so they have to closely re-examine their recruitment process. Mind you, people who only want to join for the ships don't always make the best members anyway.
