Since non-K'hara nomad players are no longer restricted to the nomad trial ID, does this mean those players using the newly available ships can submit their experiences in them to K'hara recruitment?
If so, is the Nomad Trial ID obsolete? (Ignore if the new nomad ID directly replaced the Nomad Trial ID, I haven't seen it yet)

The Trial ID still allows for an unlimited ZoI with limited ship choices and no engagement rights. The Nomad ID allows for more ships and free engagement, but you're hard-locked into the Omicrons and can't leave. More varied and RP-focused spread of encounters with the Trial.
The Trial ID still exists and can be used in the traditional sense, but it's a bit... well, redundant I suppose. How the K'hara want to deal with that is their prerogative, but from an Admin standpoint, we'll probably be discussing future options about what to do with it.

Jammi is here so he can verify that, but no.. Trial still exist, the new nommie ID restricts people to omicrons only, while trial can go anywhere.
And yeah, I believe it can be used as a recuirtment.. if people want to to leave omicrons they'll have to become k'hara.
Man I hope my rp gets approved now that nomads are active again, i wanna develop my story and rp with em alot!

Irra OP? In what place? Have you seen the size of that thing?
120 impulse speed doesnt affect anything, it's still 140 max on thruster.
Have you seen the shape? Maybe you should do a TS on a test server and see for yourself.
Guess what, mako is two times bigger than a ossie and its far more better.
Mako is better than ossie because of heavy slots, mainly.
Irra is definitely a big cruiser, that's a fact. And, although, I didn't have many encounters with them, the ones I saw weren't too good, maybe.
There's a good... way to tell if cruiser is good enough or not. How easily can it solo a non-missile battleship using only cerberus or basic turrets? (no mortars).

Thats a little hard to say in all honesty..
I would have to say.. Yes. I will allow submissions with these new characters. BUT if I am to add you to the current system I have running, the submissions of Roleplay MUST be good ones. I may be a little less strict in the process as the ID is open now, but I still would like to see some good roleplay.
This is not 100% confirmed right now, but my thoughts as the overseer of recruitment.

very easily, even with missiles too.
And mako is not only good because of heavy slots, its shape is the first reason for its greatness.

That's pretty funny - and exactly true.
Obviously for the first week or so, the Omicrons are going to be so screwed up it's not funny. After that, things ought to shake down pretty good.
Oh, and regarding the Core and Order ID line about RP required - TECHNICALLY nothing needed to be said before those ships went after each other. However, players being players, nearly always there was at least one or two lines - even if it was something lame like, "Order pilot, prepare to die." The factions are already in a declared war type situation, so it's really not like we have to say a lot more.
History lesson for all those new nomad pilots: BHG|Core has been trying to get Nomad tech and research that Order has for years, for their own (Core) purposes. [Better living through better weapons!] Recently (in game time) the Core mounted an invasion - not a raid, but an honest to God full scale invasion - of Toledo. The good news? The Core won - they kicked the Order off of Toledo, destroying many Order ships and completely disrupting the plans of the Order, and captured copies of most of the Order tech and research. The bad news? The Nomads showed up with a fleet that no one knew (or even dreamed) existed and then blew the crap out of the Core - and with a special ship reminiscent of the ship that destroyed Sol, destroyed Toledo.
