- What is your full name?
- My name is Harry Kent.
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
- As a freelancer, trading was my prime way of life
- To what division are you applying?
- im applying to the transport Bowex division.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
- To serve Bretonia and the Queen.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
- I call the BPA to protect the Bretonian citizens.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
- As a Bowex member my first concern is acomplishing my mission.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
- It depends on their objectives and the side they are "badging".
- Were you referred to Bowex by a Bowex) or BMM- employee?
- I was referred by Robert Kent, a BMM member
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
I was operator of pressure machines processing metals on Stokes Mining Station, Leeds. It was tough job, but you always came back home with your head clean.
- To what division are you applying?
I want to apply to Shipping division.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
I never was the manual work kind of guy so I saved some money for a transport ship and I am looking for a good employer. Bowex seems like a good idea to me. Big and prosperous.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
I change my course, do whatever I can to not get involved and inform BPA or BAF about the situation instead. I aint risking my cargo at no costs.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
I slam his ship a little. We'll see if he talks rubbish anymore after that.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
I don't like animals. Better to keep your badgie out of my sight.
- [b]Were you referred to Bowex by a Bowex) or BMM- employee?
I was reffered here by sir Rodney Stuart , pilot of Bowex)Bentley.
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
Now that's kind of forward of ye, don't ye think? I should get work relations on ye for sexual harrasme.... Oh, THAT kind of experience.
I've worked for Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing. I've got training in the operation of heavy snub craft, transport ships, as well as skills in convoy and escort conduct.
- To what division are you applying?
ExSec
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
Having worked as a miner for some years, I've built up a few grudges here and there, what with Mollies and the like. I figure, hey, if I can even the score and get paid at the same time, well... why the bloody hell not?
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
Drink a mournful toast to their unfortunate, but inevitable, destruction. Alas, if only I were able to intervene myself, which is sadly impossible, as my ship's weapons will have most likely mysteriously jammed. Oh well. We shall send bouquets to the widows and children. They should have left it to the professionals.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
I hear they fry frog's leg up Gally-way. Perhaps give that a try.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
Lad, have you ever seen a Winchester gartner snake? Terrible creatures. I think my position on the matter is clear.
- [b]Were you referred to Bowex by a Bowex) or BMM- employee?
Yes, I was referred by Mr. Liljefors. I think that's how you spell it.
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
Technically it could be said that I still am employed by Her Majesty. Some of your boys may have seen the Victory out and about, I'm one of the captains worthy enough to be on the roster for her. As for experience, that'd be moving one of the most precious cargoes around safely for quite some years, with more mundane shipping before that since I was a young man.
- To what division are you applying?
That'd be the Shipping Division for me.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
Given the troubled times and all, Her Majesty doesn't get on as many cruises and visits as She'd probably like. Even if I was the only captain of her liners, it's not a full time job. Serving the Kingdom by moving regular cargo is some way to doing even more for my part.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
That would depend on the strength of our and the revs' sides. I hardly need to tell you the power of a few dozen Banger turrets hammering onto some vagabond, and I've popped a few Corsairs and some of our homegrown pirates too. If we can safely do so, an attempt at increasing that number can show our superiority; who knows, maybe the independent gets dented in the crossfire as well.
If we're endangering our own cargo too much, move on and call in our boys in red or the other local authorities if we're further afield.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
A bit of Gallic humour is nothing compared to the rapier wit of a Bretonian. There's only one real kind of Royalist, and they support the Queen!
I've heard their ships are nothing compared to ours, and we can't let the Privateers have all the fun.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
People say that these were sent by the Devil himself, but to me it seems like he's only their puppet. Never make eye contact if you want to keep your soul intact, and a friend of mine... let's just say he was lucky to already have some kids.
- Were you referred to Bowex by a Bowex) or BMM- employee?
I was not, but a Royal stamp of approval should be a boon of sorts. I've had Sir Cromwell's acquaintance at an event or two if he happens to recall me.
From: Ms J. Frances, Head of Human Resources, Borderworlds Exports. To: Misters Harry Kent, Gabriel Cash and Geoff Dunim Topic: Your applications to join Bowex
Gentlemen,
Apologies for not responding sooner to your applications.
Unfortunately we have had a hold on all applications because of a shortage of ships, however with the increase in pirate activity (some of it home grown) and of course the on going war with Gallia we now have a shortage of pilots.
I would like to invite you all to an interview with our review board on Scarborough Station at 10:00 Newcastle Time on 05.07.819.
Since we have so many of you attending at once, the process may take most of the day, so we will be providing you with lunch.
Prio to your interview you may find it useful if you read our Corporate Handbook to give you some more information.
From: Ms J. Frances, Head of Human Resources, Borderworlds Exports. To: Mr Andrew Malcolms. Topic: Your application to join Bowex
Dear Mr Malcolms,
We have indeed heard of your exploits aboard the Victory and understand that in these times, luxury travel outside of Bretonia's borders is hazardous.
Sir James is currently on leave, but Mr Barnes is available to meet with you and discuss your application to Bowex.
To this end I would like to invite you to an interview on Scarborough Station at 18:00 Newcastle Time on 04.07.819
I am sure you are more than aware of Bowex and what we do, but it is standard practice to include our Corporate Handbook, you may find it interesting reading.
Yours sincerely,
Ms J. Frances

- What is your full name? Lewis Arling
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have? I was an independent trader for 20 years, and I had accumulated a bit of a fortune. I have quite a bit of experience in dealing with pirates.
- To what division are you applying? I'm applying for the Shipping division.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports? So that I might make a living and make some friends to share a beer or three with.
Oh, and since Bretonia's in a bit of a fix with Gallia as of late, I suppose now would be the time to help.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why? What would I do? I'd wish those Hessians good luck and then give them a wide berth, 's what I'd do!
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?I'd not hesitate in croaking back.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers? Why, I'd do away with those buggers as soon as possible. If I had to, I'd bring in a bloody Crusader or something. Should be an even match, right?
- Were you referred to Bowex by a Bowex) or BMM- employee? No, not that I recall.
it was late in the afternoon, the 'the blue haring' was still quite empty,
while I was not alone here, it felled lonely with my glass of bourbon.
as I slowly drank my drink clearing my mind of unwanted thoughts
and stress, calming me down.
I grabbed my tablet, checking my facebook account, nothing new I sighed, mail I softly whispered, maybe there..
better do something I'm postponing too long already,
::you are now logged in:: said the website,
colorfully, corporations situated in bretonia with job offers, as I scrolled down the list
hmm, Borderworld Exports, didn't I read an article about them in the union magazine?
application form, well here goes nothing I softly spoke in myself.
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
I worked as C/o onboard of a luxery liner for a decade, now got my captain's papers and looking for some new experience.
- To what division are you applying?
Trade, eurh Shipping? something with non-human cargo.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
acc. to union magazine you do well to your employees,
and I'm looking for something different then the ol' liner.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
Sure as hell avoid the hessians, but if I was applying for escort then I would try to aid the convoy and then get the heck out of there...
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
ignore it, garlics always croak, perhaps report sighting of it to a local police aka military officer. why? because I'm not a policemen..
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
eurh, who?
- [b]Were you referred to Bowex by a Bowex) or BMM- employee?
nah, not really.
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
I was transporting goods for a private company in Liberty. The company was strong for a while, but it slowly started to fall apart, and was disbanded later on. I worked there for almost 7 years so I can say I am an experienced transport pilot.
- To what division are you applying?
Definitely Shipping division.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
First of all, because I was actually born on planet Cambridge, so in these dark times I feel the urge to help out other Bretonians. Second, because everybody has to make a living, no?
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
I honestly would just continue on my route. Don't want to waste time with those matters.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
That's all they do. I'd probably just ignore it, and continue with my mission. No need to risk cargo for nothing.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
Really good question, I'd ask myself that too.
- Were you referred to Bowex by a Bowex) or BMM- employee?
I was referred by Mr. Stuart. He's a good lad.
