Besides Order has for the longest time appropriated Nomad tech, it wouldn't be outside of reason to extend that courtesy to their closest ally, as long as they ensure Zoners use Nomad stuff to produce tech for themselves only (which is where Zoners would differ from Core I guess).

Zoners supply Order.
Order keeps noms off the Zoner's backs.

Doesn't qualify Zoners for nomad research/containment/tea parties.

A Zoner could essentially be a truck driver. Sure he can move cargo, but can he deal with nomads?

Order doesn't see nomad research as something only they should do because they're better than everyone, but because it's downright dangerous, and they only trust themselves with it.

Feels pretty much one sided no? They should also make business with core. That would make things interesting

Ye I'm just playing the Devil's advocate here; I agree that what happened in the Omicrons had to happen, certain Zoners escalated things by throwing around threats and such; it had to be struck down on.

On the other hand categorically refusing any and all of their closest allies, Zoners, to handle Nomad remains is a bit harsh to me - I mean if there was RP and Order agents were allowed to oversee the process and so on and were sure technology wasn't shared with non-Zoners and everything was done in full compliance with Order directives; couldn't Order let it pass for the sake of the alliance and continued support from Zoner suppliers?

I believe the zoner leaders did not view the problem from this point. Maybe they did not realize it is not a one sided alliance? Whatever the case, such... let us say ''ignorance'' gave the Order the opportunity to come with such terms

Still... a minimum of 10 nom fighter remains is better than nothing some would think

I daresay the only problem I'd have with handing over large bundles of nomad remains is that I shot them down (in self-defence or whatever, before the anti-farming deathsquad arrives) and then someone comes along and takes a few million off my hands with nothing more than "I got the right ID for this".

Edit: I daresay some Zoners like The Order/BHG Core war, because it's profitable to supply both sides.
