Name: Maxwell Cryoto Age: 31 Birthplace: Planet Erie, Pennsylvania Biography: I was born in Liberty, me and my family later moved to Bretonia though. When I finished my education I went on to do an apprenticeship for BMM where I later became a full employee there with a high paying position, something I would likely never get again. Being in BMM allowed me to travel to a lot of places and I ended up being stationed on BMM base in Tau-23 that later became owned by those damn Gauls. Due to the station being lost a lot of us were laid off. Including myself. Afterwards I wasn't able to get a high paying job like my one at BMM and I was struggling to find decent work. I eventually picked up doing escort work as a freelancer which would get me some decent credits at some points and not so decent credits at others. One day, on my venture to Barrier Gate where I would be looking to get an escort job in my struggling freelancing career, I decided to explore Coronado. It was a system which I went to often, yet, I had hardly discovered any of it. Upon breaching the Ice Cloud, I saw a shipyard in the distance which I decided to dock upon. This turned out to be Sabah Shipyard. It was a pretty amazing place, seeing all the people working. I decided to hit the bar there and talked to some of the Colonials who worked at the shipyard. They told me about the hard struggle you've all had to endure and I resonated with it. I lost my future because of those Gauls and so had you. I wanted to help the Colonial cause so after finishing at the bar, I came down here and submitted the app you're reading right now. Relevant Experience:
Employee at BMM, Freelancer. Your reasons for applying to the Military:
To make those Gauls pay for what they did to me, and for what they did to the Colonial Republic.

He's gone now though ) and Alts, Natalie.Brenin (RM) , Zoe.Valentine (LN), Phoenix.Wright (Hunter), ALR|Lythrilux (Rogue), SV)Xander.Reeves (Independent Pirate) and alts, [AI]Novatron (AI) and alts, Lythrilux.On.Artifacts (Corsair), -|DeM|-Archos (Independent Pirate) and alts, Ly'Thrilux (Nomad) , Lotak (Morph), Alastair.Draconis (Order), Chronicler (Junker), Steven.Thornes (DSE Miner), Lythrilux.On.Cardamine (Old Outcast I used to have)... I'm going on a bit here, but those are some of my characters.
3) How often do you normally play/come online for?
A lot, I play at least once a day usually.
Working in Tau-23 is going to make the Gauls annoying to a lot of people, but I am surprised you didn't encounter us lot before. Quite the bunch of scraps we got into back when the Republic didn't get on with Bretonia...
Still, if the big boys can set aside their differences so can the little guys. Gallia needs a good kicking, and the Military is a great place to do it. You are accepted, there'll be a uniform and ship waiting for you in some place or another.
An envelope with a recruitment flyer attached to it is left on the recruitment desk. Its contents contain a written document and a picture attached with a paper clip:
Name: Ellen Silt
ID: CS-22876-32-D
Age: 23
Birthplace: Planet Altair; Crayter Sector: District 42
Biography:
Born on our homeland, left for the exodus. Arrived in Sirius and chased out of our new home. That's more or less sums up what happened to me in the past few years. Granted, when I left Crayter, I was merely a child then and not much could be remembered. But the image of the 2nd exodus from the Taus still remain fresh in my mind.
The year was 818 AS, the year Gallia invaded. I had graduated from flight school and helped my mother, Jessica Silt, run a small cargo delivery service in our home in Tau-44 on Planet Borneo, Cassavia district. We delivered basic foodstuff and necessities to the stations within Tau-44 using a CVO 2000 "Dolphin" shuttle, capable of atmospheric take-off without the need of an Ageira based docking system. Occasionally, I get to meet my father, Jonathan Silt, on Sulawesi, he was a military pilot.
When the Gallics invaded, everyone was rushed to evacuation points around Borneo. My mother and I did what we can to help the evacuation process using our shuttle, helping ferry farmers in isolated areas of Borneo to evacuation points around the planet. When it finally came to our turn to board the evacuation craft, we were on one of the last Celestras to leave the planet.
Upon leaving the atmosphere, we were thrown into a hail of fire, streaks of blue and red marked out the fire of each side. Soon, we saw the blue outnumber the red, Gallic ships came by the hundreds.
We thought we would be safe as refugees on a civilian ship, I could never have been more wrong. Just minutes upon planetary undock, the ship shook violently, a wing of Gallic fighters started engaging our shuttle formation. We saw a Celestra beside us go down in flames under fire from a Gallic ship of a similar size, all the innocents inside, went down with it.
Our ship was badly damaged from constant fire by the Gallic fighters. The captain reported a coolant leak and a non-critical core failure. We thought we were done for.
Just then, a wing of Nyxes came out and took down one of the fighters. From the tiny porthole on the Celestra I could see the colours of the Nyxes. It was my father's squadron. They drew attention away from our ship and tried to pin the Gallic forces down, suffering heavy casualties to ensure our ship's escape.
I have never heard from my father or saw him since that day. The military reports him as missing in action and probably dead, I like to think otherwise.
Relevant Experience:
I have graduated from Borneo Interstellar Flight School and am capable of flying "C" class vessels which includes anything similar sized or smaller than a bomber. I have experience flying atmospheric entry-reentry shuttles.
Your reasons for applying to the Military:
I have seen with my own two eyes the atrocities of the Gallic threat. I have bore the effects of their evils. I am here to pay them back, as the saying goes "For those we left behind".
Signed,

1) How long have you been on Discovery?
My memory escapes me. Since 4.84 or whatever that date is. Just take my time as 3 years since my forum account says so.
2) What characters and ships have you had thus far?
In IMG|, co-founder/co-leader of OS&C, Black Dragon Society [|], was part of 81-Syndicate and still part of the [75th] Mosquitoes
For specific ships, it'll be difficult to list out every single one but I'll list the important ones:
IMG|Kamikaze [Lhotse](I think you guys have seen this one in action before)
IMG|Mizokui [Eagle]
OS&C|David.Crooke [Touketsu]
[|]Shiokawa.Mitsuo [Mamoru/Black Dragon]
Carlos.Cabello[75th] [Scimitar]
Lance.Hastings [LPI Liberator]
Ethical.Murder [Merc Eagle working for Rogues]
3) How often do you normally play/come online for?
My timezone is weird, GMT+8. I come online at 16 GMT and leave at around 20 GMT. As a student, I don't have much time to play, as a person living in GMT+8, I tend to miss a lot of the server activity.
Colonial to the bone, I guess the boys upstairs wish there were more like us around. The Exodus out of '44 shook us all, not all of those we 'lost' are gone, but those who are know what to do. You're accepted, Warrant Officer Silt.
Let's hope the Academy was up to the usual standards when they put you through, but maybe you can teach the Movers a thing about aggressive shuttling.
Biography:
I was born into a family which sees defending home is the most sacred duty of a man and I was trained to be like by my father who trained me to fight my enemies to honor my homeland .I was part of a group of civilians who defended Cambridge from Corsairs, and sometimes Gauls, that was 4 years ago.
Later, I started escorting Civilian transporters in and out of Bretonia, making some money to leave to the front lines, in order to hunt Gauls and other scum.
Recently, while I was passing Coronado to the Taus, I faced an Outcast Ambush, but managed to hold on. Fortunatly a Colonial mover came and defended me with extreme courage, he towed my ship to Pecos and replaced it with a Nyx until I recovered from a serious concoction.
The Colonials gave me home and were my family when I was away from mine, they didn't ask me who was I, and accepted me into their home.
Relevant Experience:
Basic fighting skills - Strategic planner - Diplomatic
Also Basic Gunboat skills since I was trained to kill Sairs flying it
Your reasons for applying to the Military:
Now I think I have learned what it is to be a woman who fight for freedom, justice and liberty against the Gallic monster which corrupted peace and became an intruder to what the other houses are. The story of Crayter is a story that should not be repeated in a way or in another, humanity should not suffer anymore because of Gallic lust.

When I was 19 I decided to join military, because of my snub craft piloting skills was so great I got in to fast response bomber wing, we had clock devices in our ships and ships was always ready to launch in our carrier. Our squadron was very successful after few years service in Rheinland Military, I got message from BDM, they was interested about me and my skills, so I decided to join them, my career was going to right direction, when I was pretty high ranked member, I high command sent me and my colleagues to special mission to Taus. Well, considering the recruitment office has been rather full as of late, some of the applications have been sent over to Hades and i've been reviewing them so far.
Miss Butler,
It's nice to see yet another Bretonian face coming to the Taus with such determination. It's true that Colonials always help others, and also allow others to help them, so we might find you a place in the Colonial Military. Perhaps that determination will keep you alive against the Gauls.
You're preliminary accepted. You'll hear from us soon in regards to an interview and a final decision afterwards.
Mister Koch,
Having a Rheinlander at our doorstep is unusual, but i guess you are a fine man. If you can hold up to the data you provided in your biographical file then you'll fit well in one of our Squadrons.
Apologies for the delay, but one of my tech guys got a little drunk on his way to my office, and decided it would be a good time to forget why he was coming, so didn't get the message till now.
Anyway, so I hear you want to join my Movers eh? A good profession and life, let me tell ya! With us Movers, ya never know what will be on the other side of a jumphole, or what is on the other side of a tradelane! Makes them corporate hauling route look like child's play.
So, lets see here. *Reviews info* Well, your background seems a good fit for the Movers! Let me just key this in this here... Ah, there we go. You're preliminary accepted into the Colonial Movers. If you could give me a moment, I'll make some calls then we'll start the interview process. Afterwards I'll get back to ya regarding the decision to have you join me and my boys.
Name: Cassandra 'Cass' Malone Age: 21 Birthplace: Crayter, I suppose Biography: I was born a little time before we arrived in Sirius. Dunno exactly where. My mother died during the first exodus, and my father never talked to me about it... So I don't really know what happened. Never will... I grew up in the Taus. My father was an independent transport captain working alongside the IMG in their mining operations. He teached me how to fly a transport before I was at age to get my snub craft license... Then Gallia came and we had to run again. My father put me in an passenger transport and said he was going to follow us in his ship... "Can't leave my crew alone now..." he said, before running away... never saw him again... So aprox. a year ago I bought a Spatial class ship with Freelancer papers and started searching all around in the Taus for clues about my father. Not a trace. Finally I decided that I must admit he is almost certainly dead. So I returned to Pecos and decided to put what little I learned into good use, and to serve the Colonial Republic is the most logic choice, as you are my only family... Relevant Experience: I have some experience with fighter craft as well as transports. Not that much combat experience as operating alone in the Taus you better avoid trouble, altough you must know how to defend yourself... Your reasons for applying to the Military: In the Colonial Military I can best serve the Republic itself and honor our lost loved ones.
