"For those we left behind" applies to another one still alive, and perhaps your dad if he's out there still. Another Crayter-born with only the rest of us as family... heh, we'll all get on fine.
The Nyx is a lot faster than the Spatial to say a lot less than is necessary, but some fighter experience will do you well. I'll call you in for an interview, fill out the paperwork and stuff afterwards. Consider yourself preliminarily accepted pending all that.
Ever since I was a kid, I've always wanted to be captain of my own ship. I never had the money for flight school though, so becoming a space station engineering tech was the next best thing. I graduated from engineering school, and began my work on Harrisburg station, because it was close to home. With the arrival of my two children, the pay for working at Harrisburg became too small to exist on. With my lacking resume, and the abundance of 'more qualified' engineers, I was unable to obtain a job, and was forced to move to Bretonia. Glasgow border station was the first station to contact me about a job, and the station offered a handsome paycheck, so I accepted. That's where I met the Gauls. I quickly rose through the ranks because of my skill, and became chief engineering specialist on the station. After my family was killed by a group of Outcasts, I saw a small flier for the Colonial Military stating that they needed every man possible. Seeing as how the Outcasts are a common enemy, and I also have a distaste for the Gauls, joining seemed like the right thing to do.
Relevant experiences: Engineering skills, and experience in zero gravity environments
Reasons for joining: My wife and children were killed by a group of Outcasts. The Outcasts took everything that I had from this world and I find that with no other direction, It's only fair that I return the favor.

4.Tell us about yourself.
My name is Mark Roch. I was born and raised in Planet Denver, Colorado System. My father had enlisted in the Liberty Navy and my mom became a housewife. I went to school like all the kids in my city and life was normal. We werent rich or poor, but we were content with our lives. The last time i saw my dad was when i was 7. When i had time, i learned about ships from my uncle, who lived next door. On my 16th birthday, I created my own ship, the Starflier. I left home without anyone knowing and started my own journey.
I didnt know what to do after i left so i tried escorting to get more money. I usually teamed up with other escorts which made i easier. Then, I stopped as an escort because i hated dying as a result of me losing my ship a lot. Without anyone hiring me because of my weak ship, i can only give my loyalty and dedication. Being out of a job, i tried applying for the Liberty Police. As i heard of their corruption, i sent them a message to ignore my application. Now, i have no job or anything.
I joined the Colonial Republic in its time or organization. I became one of its new recruits in its military. I fought in the battles of Leeds and of the Taus. It were goods times indeed, however i saw that the Republic was not just about the military. So i joined the Movers. I traded and transported good around Sirius.
Month went on and i became distant. I sought adventure and wanted to return to my home because i missed by family. So i traveled around Sirius and returned to my family. I wanted to serve the Colonial Republic again and fulfill my pledge of loyalty to serve the Republic.
5. Why do you want to be a Mover?
I always have the calling for trading and mining. And whats better than joining the Movers?

The 'casts ruin a lot of lives, whether drugs or murder it doesn't really matter. There are plenty of Colonials who've went through the same thing as you, you'll not be alone. If you've been on Glasgow until recently you might have seen some of our pilots helping out on the Leeds front, might even have fixed up a ship or two in your time. Either way, a bit of fighter training'll help you fly them as well as they work. You're accepted into the Military, enjoy the new uniform if that's your thing.
Roch,
Can't keep them away for very long can we? It's a good thing you transferred over to the Movers, since Anders'd probably be hauling you up for desertion. If it was the old Admiralty... oh boy.
Either way, I think Lou will be glad of another guy Moving stuff around for him; I guess you're accepted.
What do we call you? You can call me Sundance, at least thats what everyone else calls me. My real name is John but I got the nickname from a stunt I did back in high school. Don't ask.
How old are you? Sundance lifts up both hands and begins counting his fingers, he then seems to lose track as he responds, "26"
Where you from? Java Station. It was a lonely childhood.
Tell us about yourself. From the time I first got my class A space hauling license from the Independent Miners Guild I've been flying around making profit only for myself. I've done quite a good job I might add. In my travels I have encountered many people, none of which have stood out to me as much as the Colonials I have come into contact with. In fact the design of Colonial ships as well as the passion that drives the individuals amongst your ranks is what inspired me to purchase my very own Atlas. Now, as I am growing older, I would like to give something back to people. You know, do something more with myself than just rake in massive amounts of profit and send it all on blinky lights. I would like to dedicate myself to a cause, from what I understand you Movers are the lifeblood of the Colonials as your counterparts fight for the Colonial's right to a place among the stars. Long story short, I want to make a difference, and you look like you could use a hand... and some cargo pods.
Why do you want to be a Mover? I just told you that? did you even listen to my motivating and inspiring speech about the glorious Colonials and their battle to make a name for themselves and defend what is theirs??

1) How long have you been on Discovery? I've been an active member of discovery for over 7 years.
2) What characters and ships have you had thus far? too many to count, [*USI*] ships [KoF] ships, [DSS] (bretonian military ships)
3) How often do you normally play/come online for? I have spurts of time where work bogs me down quite a bit, also I left the CL} and a couple of other factions due to not enough people being active during my hours of activity so that also plays a part as to how much time I put in. generally at least 7-8 hours a week.
4) What is your Skype username? sundancemanman
So, you're interested in joining my Movers, eh? Can't say I blame ya. My boys and I have that effect on haulers and transport captains. Maybe it's the cigars I give out to the top haulers. Or the discounted drinks I give at Ambrosia. Meh, either way. A great bunch the Movers are!
After reading your application, you seem to understand what it means to be a Mover in the Colonial Republic. We do what we can, give back to our people, make a difference, and of course make motivating and inspiring speeches about us glorious Colonials! As long as you can keep that up, you'll fit in nicely. I hereby accept you into the Colonial Movers. Congrats lad!
You even have an Atlas do you? Fine ships isn't it. Does the job, and if you treat her right, she'll treat you right! Please make your way to New Hope East or Sabah Shipyard for retrofit, and I'll make sure my boys make her better than ever for all your Moving needs!
See you in the skies lad
Lou Marcus, Mover Maestro
Name: Ilan Soto Age: 43 Birthplace: Crayter Biography: I was born in Crayter. In my late teenage years, I, together with my twin brother attended Colonial Military Academy, dreaming to become a marine one day. During the Profession Compatibility Test I've shown good results as potential Marine Engineer, so I've begun my training. Everything seemed so perfect back then, back to these days when everything flowed in normal flow. But all good things always comes to an end. Then, a Cataclysm came. Every marine was needed to deal with the panic and fear. In such desperate situations, anarchy always shows it fangs. I saw many terrible things back then. People, trying to get through guarded fences just to get close to the Sleeper Ships, and getting killed by guards. Mothers trying to pass their children to the guards to make sure, that they'll get to the Sleeper. The squad I and Lucas were in was responsible for one of the Sleeper's maintance during the journey. So, we were pretty lucky. We didn't needed any kind of applications to fill to get into the ship. I'm not sure for how long we traveled through space. Engineers worked in shifts, never stayed awake more than five days to preserve the usage of Sleeper's resources. I've been waken up only about five times. Then, we reached Sirius. I've been waken up for the last - sixth time. People were happy, believing that this brave new world will become our home. But there also have been other kind of thoughts. Human, as a race, doesn't like to share their space with others, nomads and homeless, as history shows. Lucas and me were the ones, who believed that we, as a nation, will never prosper in Sirius. So, once we got our chances, we left the fleet and decided to look for fortune in this new world. We thought, that it's better to be anywhere else, than being with Colonials. We were wrong. We were untrusted, "people from nowhere". Damn, some even thought that all this "exodus" is a part of Coalition plan to infiltrate Sirius. None of us could get job back then. So, we had to look for alternatives. And there was one. Once Lucas and me came to Liberty, we've got some news about a group of pirates called "Liberty Rogues". After some searching we found the people we should talk to in considerations of joining them. And so, ours, as the biggest scums in whole space, days started. For years to come we learned how to pilot ships, so soon, we got plenty much of jobs to do for Rogues: racketeering, pirating, smuggling. We forgot our roots, forgot where we came from. Forgot, that this is not the life we should live. And from time to time, Lucas was reminding this, but I've never listened. Lucas preferred talking over actions, so without my agreement, he'd never leave Rouges. If I just knew what future will bring us... I'd definitely listened to him. I've lost Lucas year ago. We got one pretty simple job. At least this is what we thought. We had to move some Bactrian for some guy to Coronado system, Barrier Gates Station. It looked simple as hell, and the payment was good enough. But everything was different. I'm not quite sure who the guy was, and what he did with that Bactrian, but it was pretty... persona non grata in Liberty. Probably more than all Rogues put together. Or maybe we were set up, maybe that was some sort of plan? In Colorado, we were ambushed by some Bounty Hunters. We used standard smuggling route - no lanes, no jump gates, but they still were there, like waiting for us. They even got us no choice, said nothing. Just started shooting. The Bactriand didn't stood a chance. We were plying through the asteroids trying to avoid their shots, but with every hit it was pretty obvious, that we won't make it. We lost our shields, some subsystems were on fire. It was just matter of time. Once realizing that there's no chance of survival, me and Lucas rushed for escape pods. That was our only chance. I've entered my pod, and Lucas entered his, the one just in front of mines. There was only couple of seconds before the launch left. I thought that we're already safe. There's a big chance that our life pods would hide somewhere in asteroids and won't be found by hunters. Then, it all happened... it was just a matter of moment. I'm not quite sure what caused it... maybe that was one of the hunter's laser, which breached through all the hull, maybe that was some sort of malfunction. Probably I'll never know. Just before the launch of my pod, I glanced at Lucas through the illuminator. He smiled at me, shown his thumb up, probably trying to calm me down, telling that everything will be alright. And suddenly, his pod drowned in bunch of sparkles, some sort of explosion could be heard. I didn't realized what happened. The answer came just in the moment, when my pod started sliding down through the escape shaft. For the part of the second, once sparkles gone and smokes faded away, I could see my brother's escape pod's illuminator covered in blood. Lucas was dead. My pod successfully launched from the ship. Lucas' pod remained in the dying ship. Probably I'm just lucky guy, or maybe, it has nothing to do with a luck. Maybe, it's the plan of gods - to make me suffer in grief of my brother. To be free in some sort of way. But these hunters did not spotted me. I could feel my pod crashing into some asteroid, and later, when Bactrian became nothing but a peace of space junk, and hunters moved away, I've turned on my emergency beacon. I've been taken by some Zoner. Don't know his name, we didn't talked too much. Maybe, he had idea what kind of guy I was, maybe not. Probably, he just didn't care. He dropped me off in Barrier Gate's Station, the place I and Lucas were supposed to reach. I've tried to look for the guy, who was supposed to take the Bactrian, but I couldn't find him. As I said, maybe that was just some sort of plan I'll never understand. I've spent my year in grieving, drinking and looking for any kind of the problems in Barrier. Then, I've remembered how hard Lucas tried to tell me that it's probably time to come back to our nation, to our brothers and sisters, but I never listened to him. That was his will, the wish he wanted to fulfill for so long, but he couldn't do that because of me. Maybe it was my destiny. To return "home" in these kind of circumstances. To return to my people and do everything in their cause, just like my brother do. Do that as him. Do that as a real Colonial. Relevant Experience: Engineering, on-board fighting. Your reasons for applying to the Military: I've tired of these nomadic travels of mine. Me and my brother started pirating because we saw no hope that we, as Crayterians will have something we can call "home" in Sirius. But now, there's hope, and it's time to put my part in prosperity of our nation.

1) How long have you been on Discovery? I've been on Discovery since 2009's, I think.
2) What characters and ships have you had thus far? Had pretty much of different characters. Probably my main characters were from CR, since it was my first faction ever.
3) How often do you normally play/come online for? Can't tell now. I wasn't on Discovery for a while. Now, I'm returning.
4) What is your Skype username? chevalierdisco . I think, I'm still on CR channel. Or maybe not.
I remember the mess at that time, although I was still a teenager back in Crayter. You don't meet many who were actually awake before we arrived in Omega-whatever, so there's that. We also don't get many ex-pirates, it's usually "saved from pirates" that bring them in. As long as you don't turn back to those ways, the memory of your brother along with all the rest of us who've faced loss should keep you going.
You're accepted into the Military, Warrant Officer. For those we left behind.
Biography: My childhood was relatively, uneventful, aside from my father dieing when I was only a young boy. He worked for Ageira, and was hauling white boxes when he was attacked by a group of unlawfuls. We still don't know who it was, as the case remains open.
My mother was a tough woman, who raised my sister and I by herself. She passed on when I was 19, and I found myself drifting with no real direction.
I've always wanted to fly, ever since I was a little boy and I would watch my father take off in his personal snubcraft to head for Pueblo.
I decided to take a job as the captain of a small freighter, shipping food and medical supplies to Barrier Gate Station. One afternoon, after losing our way in the Barrier Cloud due to scanner malfunctions, we came upon a lone fighter. They said they flew for the Colonial Republic. I was intrigued. I began researching all I could find out about this house, where people were offered a fresh start.
I found that they were in good standing with Liberty. Knowing I wouldn't lose access to my extended family on Denver, and knowing I would likely never be accepted into the ranks of the Liberty Navy due to my failing to apply at a young enough age for the academy, I was convinced that this would be the outfit that would allow me to, someday, avenge my father's death, and become my own man.
I've wanted to fly fighters ever since I saw my first escort out of Denver....the ships were so graceful, fast, agile....everything my Rhino wasn't.
So, I am applying for the Colonial Republic military. It may be my last chance to prove to myself that I'm more than just a freighter pilot.
Relevant Experience: I've been the captain of The Agares for 11 years now, since I was 20 years old. I've spent most of that time flying between Barrier Gate Station, and the heart of Liberty. I have no fighter experience per se, but I know my Rhino has guns, as I've had to use them on at least 3 occassions over the years. All 3 times, I barely escaped with my life. However, I'm an able pilot who is eager to learn more.
Your reasons for applying to the Military: I'm a fighter pilot trapped in a Rhino. I want more out of this life.

How long have you been on discovery?
~3 years, with some breaks in there.
What characters and ships have you had thus far?
About 50-60, mostly indies. I was an Angel for a while, and also was in the Sails.
I've also been in a few unofficial factions.
How often do you normally play/come online for?
It varies, and depends largely on my work schedule. Weekends are better. I'm usually on everyday though, at least on the forums.
Someone who doesn't want to leave anyone behind, I guess we'd all wish to be in that position. So yeah, we'll get you somewhere to sleep over if you're keeping your feet in Liberty, at least during your fighter training. If you wash out of the Nyx, maybe you can use the guns on a Celestra or one of the new freighters we're working on. You're accepted, mate.
