Heya so about that dramatic turn of events regarding the 101st, why not pass the mantle to CL and show that the faction system can actually work and actually is a bit dynamic? CL's got the role play, the activity (over quite a period if time) and the leadership, seems obvious to pass it on to them in a positive way IMO. 101st can live on in any way people see fit, as "spiritual advisors" / "warrior priests" / etc. and let CL, which is arguably more politically centred faction at its core, handle the political side (with associated rights).
Sure I was in CL and other OC factions and may seem biased, but to be honest I haven't hardly been active enough to really count in any way. Also I didn't talk to anybody, just posting on behalf of myself (on a phone, sorry if autocorrect).
That's definitely also an option, that's up to the people involved if they can work it out. It would be bad to smash two factions in a merge if players are too far apart. 101st and CL are fairly different in role play/focus. I envision future CL as Ahmadinejad and 101st as Ayatollah Khamenei if that makes any sense.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't part of CL's objective the overthrow of the current Maltan government including 101st?
I've given a good read on the subject, at least what's visible on the forums (skype-drama excluded) and I can say that the 101st dudes, regardless of what they decide to do with the matter at hand, should take some distance and chill out, I sense they are too immersed in this right now.

However, the "merge" topic has been discussed between HC of both CL} and 101st when we were both short of activity. This is not longer the case.
101st however wanted to have it as us still flying under the 101st flag and therefore the discussion died rather quickly. It would not make any sense InRP for anything like that to happen. Would be a waste of the efforts we have made as well.
With this in effect the problem should be nullified.
Personally, I don't mind if CL and 101st existed alongside, but seeing the current situation of the Ghosts the 101st should simply disband or will be replaced by the Lance.
