============== Guardian and Avenger Liberty VHFs ==============
The two fighters had their Z axis stats swapped because it "made sense". It does not.
The Guardian which is a lighter tier VHF now handles like a Titan or similarly slow ship, where as the Avenger is jumpier and has the reaction of a much lighter ship. Change should be reversed, don't fix what ain't broke.
Evaluated Avenger for update 2, but Guardian is honestly fine right now. Previously its roll was kind of mad, right now it is still way above Odin level actually for example.
This one was extremely useless in 4.86 and appears to be unchanged in 4.87.
It's main opponents of the cruiser class are the Bretonia Destroyer, Kusari Destroyer, LABC and the Council Cruiser.
It has very similar stats to the Bretonia Destroyer but is 2-3 times bigger than it and considerably bulkier than a LABC. I can't even count how many Kusari destroyers can be fit inside it but it's probably more than 20.
Overall, the only things it can do is to fly 3-4k away from a battleship without cover and bombard it with pulses and mortars, and taking on a Bretonia Destroyer in a head-on fight using all its weapons (which will never happen).
Terrible arcs on the heavy slots and slow prims don't help either.
Here are some size comparisons:
I think there are only two ways to fix it:
1. Scale it down to about 60-70% of its current size and keep its stats same. It is still going be larger and bulkier than the Bretonia Destroyer but it will have some chance to be useful due to its amount of guns.
2. Keep the size and make it a proper battlecruiser. That will leave the GRN without a cruiser, though.
The Council cruiser seems to have nearly the same problems, but I don't have any experience flying it.
P.S. I would have included the Kusari Battlecruiser in the comparison, but I couldn't find it in the game files.
EDIT: Found it, its size is similar to that of the LABC.
It's size/armor is not matched up, either the model should be reduced in size by ~15% or it's armor should be buffed by ~15%.
It's weapon arcs are horrendous. Who ever put them on didn't even bother to do it properly. They are positioned in such way that the turrets can't fire backwards as they try to turn to a different side instead of staying in the position they can shoot from, which instead of allowing it to shoot 4-6 guns backwards properly only allows it to shoot 0-3 guns backwards at the time, with usual number being 0 thanks to the messed up hardpoint arcs which force the guns to turn away from the target when the mouse passes certain axis. Currently it's ability to fire is:
Forward: 6
Backwards: 0-3
Side: 3
Up/down: 2-4
With a little HardCMP editing(I'm willing to do it) it should be put to:
Forward: 6
Backwards: 4
Side: 4
Up/down: 4
If these two things are fixed, it would be a decently balanced ship. It would stay true to it's purpose, charging enemies head on, while still retaining some defensive capabilities on all sides.
Also, I know it's a wrong section, but the the texturing on it's belly armor plates is sub-par, giving the ship a half-quality half-junk appearance. It's textures should be re-mapped to match the texture quality of the rest of the ship. I assume the model was made by Jinx as his models often have such problems, a brilliant model and a brilliant texture on half of the ship but extremely low quality/blurry texture on the rest.
First, I'll compliment the changes so far - the ship is loads better than it was in 4.86, and has a clearly defined playstyle different than the Ranseur, and deserves to see more play than it did in the previous release. It's even got advantages for the first time in its history; 360 secondary turrets in slots 8-9 that allow me to put a pair of flak in any direction except straight down and a tremendous broadside that is actually a bit more powerful (not to mention more accurate) than Ranseur's, to name two. The fifth primary was a great addition.
That being said, the ship still seems too large for its stats. Size comparisons in-game still has it being just a bit smaller than the Valor from the sides, and is maybe 90-95% the length. Sarissa is fast, but still can't evade fire like a Dunkirk, which the ship feels modeled after (and is certainly comparable to in armor/core).
Dunkirk is a med bs while Sarissa is a heavy one. It's more comparable to Valor in everything except hp and arcs. Treat it as a middle ground between Dunkirk (run of the mill med bs) and Valor (only the RM bs is heavier)
Can't even shotgun this thing - it doesn't DIE after a MR+2.00 salvo! sooo unbalanced it makes me wanna cry and blame Zelot instead of MJOLNIR

[1:40:37 AM] Cоппоя McИeil (McNeo): With the uni8 upg, the wraith has 27k hp according to the infocard base
[1:40:45 AM] Cоппоя McИeil (McNeo): The full shotgun with excals does 27.1k
[1:40:45 AM] Max "NSA" Morse: Yup
[1:40:51 AM] Cоппоя McИeil (McNeo): So what's happened here is
[1:41:11 AM] Cоппоя McИeil (McNeo): The devs have tried to get away with not reducing its hull as much as the infocard says it has
[1:41:14 AM] Cоппоя McИeil (McNeo): DEVS
[1:41:26 AM] Ilya: MJOLNIR!!!
Ship info card:
===============
- infocard Colossus (Rheinland train) shows impulse 90 - but impulse is down to 70
- the colossus has still the engine in ist cocpit view (since 4.85)
- zoner whale has a thruster speed of 160 ???
PLZ pin these 3 Bug report sections in Ship balance, Tadebug and bug reports its an awful search each time
Too big to be useful in any way. It's out of scale for cruisers.
If it was meant for long range artillery, it doesn't have the core to fire 2 Trebuchets and missiles have been nerfed (ammunition), so that dual missiles make no sense any more.
I suggest a decrease in size to give it the same possibilities to dodge incoming fire as all other cruisers have.

I made a little comparision of some cruisers, with the VANILLA heavy cruiser (Rheinland Cruiser) as comparision: https://www.dropbox.com/s/90uuap0fkp2c8ef/Cruisers.png (temporary comparision, I'll expand and / or modify it over time, when I have time.)
While the Corsair and Hessian cruiser are both bigger that the Rheinland cruiser, they are about the same size. They also have 1 turret more than the Rheinland cruiser. Now, in my opinion, the Rheinland cruiser is one of the best balanced cruisers, it can do its job very well, while not being totally overpowered.
What is very obvious from the start on: the GRN cruiser is massive compared to the others. It needs to be shrunk down quite significantly. It's "BIG" from all sides.
A minor side note: Corsair and Hessian cruiser are also not that small.
Keep in mind that it doesn't have to compete with any of those cruisers and it isn't intended to be balanced against them. While your image is a good example, a comparison with Bretonia/Kusary Destroyer and LABC is somewhat more relevant. And compared to them it's even worse. Check out my post in this thread (few posts up), where I compared them.
EDIT: This isn't a discussion so feel free to delete this post if it's out of place.
