Are you kidding? Half of GRN is infected and Charles is working with Harbinger.
What he said ...
I thought it was only about a fourth of the GRN, but either way - the premise that Gallia knows nothing about Nomads is seriously wrong. (Oh, don't get me wrong - the average citizen may know nothing - but there has been RP going on for ... what, over a year now? ... with the GRN taking the place of the RM in the original game, basically.)

I guess Danny never got around to posting about it, but this is being/has been retconned with GRN's recent leadership kerfuffle and associated reshuffling of sketchy lore elements. King Charles is not infected, and the vast majority of the Navy and Royal Police are clean, though there is a small degree of infection, as with any other house military.
I recall talking to GRN people about it somewhat recently, and they took the position that the infection roleplay was being retconned. I'm not concerned by that since, technically, said roleplay was not made a concrete part of mod lore.

Thank god for that. We really didn't need a Vanilla-Campaign-2.0-Now-With-Valors-Instead-Of-Turtles.
(Or cloaking Lynxes instead of Wraiths, I suppose)
Should that happen, they'd get quashed and squashed within few months. 4 or 5 human fleets could erase the Nomads from the pages of history, if they'd be limited to just Sirius.
As for Gallia, I don't think they're very infested, but they sure are playing the Nomads' game (weaken humans with useless, resource-wasting wars between themselves).
If nomads were to come with the pressure of Gallia and the house factions tired from war.....
Kusari = Dead
Bretonia = Dead
Liberty = Possible survival
Rheinland = Possible survival but radiation in their systems too..
Outcasts: Your like the walking dead anyway from your drugs. Nomads take it and you die a slow death.
Coalition: Good luck
Order: Why are you not doing your job!? Where are you? Dead?
Corsairs: YALALALALALLALALALALALALALLALALALLALALALALLLALLAL.... we need food.

Never said he is infected, it has actually been stated previously that he is only working with them, but not getting infested. A good chunk of this infestation got cleansed though during the Day of Fallen Grace.

You guys just can't retcon something having an impact on so many things already. Even Council diplomacy has been affected by that.
EDIT: After a lengthy discussion on skype I've been told no retcon will happen as the level of infection after the events of Fallen Grace has been reduced to regular levels (like in other houses). It will be called an event of the past and people will move on with the little impact it might have had on other things.
