This was a rough fight that we fought from T23 to Alpha and back to T23 and which ended in T37 at the Freeport where my ship is undergoing repairs at the moment after I docked.
The general fighting went very well. We were even able to push the Outcasts back into Alpha. In their inevitable counterstrike we managed to keep them out of T23, even though the tiny rest of us was finally overpowered in T37 after inflicting heavy losses. I think it was one of the fights in which we shot down way more than we lost. But I lost count in the mess.
I don't know how many different targets I shot at, but I did not manage to get the final shots in this time. Anyway, I snapped pictures of all the warships that went down. Quite a considerable number.

Hello guildmembers
Woke up for my security shift in Freistadt. There was a legate that moved from Cambridge into Omega 3.
Launched but... when I got there he was far gone. Sean was there too and an ally...
Anyway I docked at Aland then to grab a quick sip of beer. But before they could place it on the counter... the alarm went off again.
Sean found a corsair gunboat. Amazingly close to Aland too!
I moved in with the C disruptor and kept him down on regular impulse.
Raymon came out too, and the three of them cut him down to size.
Finally he walked into my crosshairs. My first gunboat splash
And it's saturday night! Sean's already at the bar.
Here is a short overview of my opinion on some of the new IMG technology granted for testing by the Paramilitary.
"The new IMGF-18C Lhotse is a redesigned model of its predecessor. It's overall size has been reduced, while new alloy types allowed for a robust hull superior to the Nyx and old Lhotse.
[...]
The handling does not feel different overall, although a thicker hull gives the illusion of slower turning. Although certainly not optimal, our very heavy fighter is on a good way."
"IMG B11e-4, or Vampire Mk4 has been developed to my liking. Increased damage output, yet not sacrificing substantial amounts of efficiency is exactly what the Paramilitary needs."
"As for the new missiles, which have been delivered to the Jakarta equipment stores - The new X45 Firestalker is a beast. Although lacking the damage of the T-MX2 (Sidewinder) or the C242 (Cannonball), the speed and fast reload put it on top of my wish list for the new patrol ship standarts.
[...]
Even though I prefered the high damage output of the Cannonball in the past, the Sidewinder would now make it second place for me, as it is the perfect tradeoff between speed, reload time and damage."
"I don't have much to say about our Heavy Bomber, it doesn't handle any different and continues to be a decent asset this way.

Attached are a number of kills I scored since my last report in the Guild comms. They are in no particular order and I have not included an exact description of the fights, as those are stored on the shiplog databases at Jakarta already.

Subject: A new Bonus Runner!
Goodmorning.
Hmm seems like there hasn't been a report in a while...
Well... might as well be me.
After crashing my Lhotse yesterday.... well when I say crashing. Cursed Maltese... I was a bit sick to head out. Ejecting is never fun. But I had a new transport a Shishi-..thingy, still can't pronounce it, with a hold full of Niobium waiting for me. So the blow was a bith softhened.
We resumed mining again last night and finally headed out.
Unfortunatly one of our transports didn't undock properly and ripped off one of the mooring points in the process.
That's what happens if you don't tick off your checklist!
Bigger problems soon came though, them Maltese were back. So we ordered the Bounty Hunter back to Java to punch a hole for our rookie.
Our rookie made it out, the hunter didn't. He was quite ... 'fixed' on killing those Outcasts. His fate is unknown to us right now.
As for us... we made it into Rheinland clean and safe!

We dropped off our cargo, picked up our paycheck and picked up Zinc from the nearby smelter. Appearantly it sells well and is much needed at Aland right now.
The Rheinlanders were quite happy to see us though, you could tell from the amount of cargo inspections.... Slim to none! hahah
Their Traffic Control was kind enough to send us some footage of our new battletransport in action.
Julia Morrow reporting in about the first battle experience in the Shishapangma Battletransport. It performs well. Charon turrets were very effective against a Wilde Gunboat that attacked me in Omega 7. While no match in a one on one, the escorts and the firepower of the other transports resulted in the swift destruction of the Scorpion class gunboat.
The names of the transports that can claim the kill can be seen in the HUD.
The Junker group called "Junker Marauders", identified by their tag JM|-, have proven to be aggressive towards the IMG.
After overlooking a mining operation, in which JM|- received Niobium Ore from an independent IMG group, I was attacked by one of their fighters, while the Junker's transports ran with the Ore.
Even though none of the miners were hurt in the described situation, I would classify the JM|- to be criminals, as they are clearly commiting unlawful acts against the IMG, when they get the chance.

Interception Report
An IMG bomber wing managed to intercept a smuggler, working for the Outcasts, in T37, near Falkland.
The ship ZLPA|HUI-Cupcake was carrying Black Market Munitions and was headed for Omicron Alpha. He complied to jettison his entire cargo, which was then destroyed to prevent it from reaching the Outcasts by other means.
Combat Report
I downed several ships over the course of three fights during the last week. Details in the log.

An old man opens his eyes... He tries to reach the comm button but he feels too weak. His body has radiation burns all over, and his voice is weak. With a last gasping try he reaches the button.
"This is Zed... Help from friends Zed needs..."
And while the silence takes over the cockpit, he looks to the star North and he smiles thinking that he knows that place.
This report solely covers the remaining kills of the last two battles in the Tau 23 system that I was involved in.

Julia Morrow reporting in some convoys that we flew. Lost 2 transports in the last 4 weeks, which is not too bad, but also can be imporved. Seems that pirates have found their balls again. Good for them. Time to kick them right there.
Furthermore, there were some nice flights that I report:
