Does this mean that if we shake them they will go faster?
*Shakes a Templar* Nope, still as fast as a stationary brick. Let's try with a Challenger. *Shakes a Challenger and fails* *Tries to shake a Challenger again* Too heavy. That's their real problems. All ships up to the GB are slow as ****. Not that I'm complaining (devil)

You forgot to open the back after you shook it. Only then will it go faster.

The funny thing is that Bretonian snubs are made with a lot of aluminium, yet they are still rather slow. Maybe it's A LOT of aluminium...

The real Reason:

By law, Britons are legally obliged to spend two hours per day practicing with the longbow, or else be fined, pilloried or worse (don't argue, I'm English).

Yet, for some reason, the Devs (in a twist of irony) gave Gallia the vastly overpowered long range weaponry and the Bretonians the tanky ships.

Switch shiplines, maybe?

Quote: Hardness and strength are important when encountering energy based weapons. Yeeee logic.

.....because torpedoes, rockets, missles, and mines are all energy weapons too....

Plus...you know...structural integrity and resistance to asteroids and debris impacting your ship is also not worth considering... Tongue

+1, Dii
but Templar is one of the ships in the game, you need a lot of skill to be using it on its full extend. If we combine the opinions of 80% of the BAF new recruits, which were most new players to this server, the ship is too heavy for them to play with. Aside from that yea Templar was the best VHF before Lynxes came out Wink

well.. my 2p.. weight has no bearing on a "space" ship surely? Being 0 gravity an all. I suppose it won't be able to get as close to a star or land on a planet as a smaller ship can (lighter)...

I'd say make it out of Tungsten the hardest metal known to man. But then again we are talking future space, so maybe aluminium fused with some random stuff is OP.

Sindroms. I love you. Not in a weird way, but your video has gotten me into Disco and I am loving every second.

Oh and I want a shark ship with a lazer cannon attached to it's head. Pretty please...
