The antihack was what I was talking about. It boots you for speed mod if your speed is over 420, because when you enter formation and are trying to catch someone, your speed rises from 350 to 420 until you catch them. Now if you were to... Well, I cant figure out how that hasn't occurred to anyone yet.. I would try 'that' on our server and see if it actually picks it up, but I would get in trouble.

I think the major changes that should be done to BHG:
-restrict shiplist to gunboat (it doesnt make sense, many people said it doesnt make sense, and many bhg have been known to abuse of it, yes I'm talking about bhg with a damned large ship of any faction they want going anywhere they want with no damn rp reason)
-Remove their right to cargoscan (they are not police, have no rights to do so as it is police juridiction, and frankly, why the police would trust an arrestation made by bounty hunters, known to be just slightly above your comon creiminal?)
-Obligation to warn their prey when engaging on bounty only(kill someone while he is not aware of a bounty on his head is at best lame, at worse dishonorable at the extreme for an easy kill)
-Killing on sight only in case of criminal targets - neutrals can be attacked only on contract. Junker count in neutral.
Brilliant idea Xing, Although, I think higher leveled BHG capital ships should be allowed only with a BHG Guard ID, Or BHG Core if you want to get RP technical. Make the ID only avaible with a full BHG Guard rep. This way, if you are a BH and have the ID and the bigship, you know that they EARNED it, and will probably make the effort to RP a bounty hunter instead of shoot everything that is blood colored and moves.

allright, cause the mercs got nerft down, we nerf the BHG now, - makes me a bit unhappy. in x.83, being BHG was a lonely job. you had a reputation as a flying target - and was limited to lawful contracts.
then the mercs got nerft - and now you re asking to nerf the bhg down, too? - you better go on with any other faction that allows a free choice of ships - cause the people that spoil it will simply move on to the next better alternative - untill the faction YOU are in is affected.....and others will ask for a nerf. if you restict capital ships to guard only - do it for every faction. and make sure that playerfactions aswell have to have guard ID / tags when they want to use the ships.
- remove their right to cargoscan? - but NPCs do it, why should the PCs have less rights - hell, everyone scans the cargo, even traders, zoners, corsairs, hogosha .... its just a reflex to do it. and you cannot ignore what you see. besides, its a serverrule to scan the ID ... yes, i know the ID is in another folder of the scan, but i cannot close my eyes when i happen to see the cargo.... but if you all want it... i ll simply ignore the cardamine next time i see it and pretend its not there, - good plan.

Agreed, it will actually make people work for there beloved Caps especially BHG
But what Jinx said, if your gona do it for BHG might as well do it for every other fraction.
about the KoS thing. Junkers arent a big threat and there no reason to go KoS with them unlesss fired upon.
Like example, your a BHG flying into Omicron Delta, corsairs/order will attack you, reason your on the ememy list and KoS and your in our space. same if Order go into Liberty, SA/LSF will KoS you or atleast warn you to leave.
"Just because the NPC's do it I can do it too" really is starting to piss me off. The NPCs do alot of stuff that is rather retarded. They are BOUNTY hunters, not cargo hunters. We should center their ID around their JOB, not the stupid things that the NPC's do.

I play a mercenary, and damn, I never felt the need to purchase a gunboat, I'm very happy in a VHF thank you.
A bounty hunter isn't even suposed to be that rich to purchase a large warship - that they build gunboat is understandable to go in nomad space, okay, but someone explains to me how bounty hunters built battleships or bought battleship en masse, united themselves by hundreds to man these things?
Military/Navy got nerfed down as well.

so, i don t scan for the ID anymore? - or will you hardcode to hide the cargo from my eyes? - gosh, i sometimes hope all those people that you consider "rogues" and "problems" move to factions you are in - and then we ll see how quick you are about nerfing your factions.
ask yourselves - do you really want to regulate the game down untill there is nothing left but rules and violations to rules? - even now, - if one wanted, ( and sadly some people want it so ) report any stinking little thing, even if the incident isn t even remotely detrimental to the roleplay.
do you really believe things ( that means your fun and your roleplay ) becomes better when you nerf facitons down?
edit: i give up - lets delete BHG capital ships... lets go on with zoners ( cause we don t know how they finance their ships ), IMG - poor miners in capitals? - mollys, hackers, dragons - etc. for most of them, capital ships are not really plausible. - or lets say.... from those that i just listed - the most plausible group are indeed the BHG.

EDIT: The only problem though with the capship regulating. how hard it is going to be to regulate and how its gona ruin the server.
But if you check the RP section people are starting to ask to use caps. I saw a BD asking NovaPG for permission to use a GB a few days ago. so that is helping ina way. But regulating it by ID will be hard since soo many BHG players have them already

On a funny matter, I am in no faction at all except for SCRA.
And in my indie npc faction characters, I always try to correct those doing the wrong things. It is tedious, but I am always glad to see people learning how to rp around instead of trashing around with their shining battleship with no rp reason other than shoot to kill.
I hate to say this, but I prefer to live in a rule disctatorship than seeing the game spoiled by a favorised faction that can fly anything and go anywhere or so with no need for roleplay, and that can fly large badass ship with absolutely no restriction. The actual BHG id, has absolutely no difference with the previous navy/military ID except they can take bounty in bonus to be able to fly anything they want.
@ivr: yes, before navy/military id goes up to cruiser I believe. Maybe even battleship, though cant be sure. Then it was downed to gunboat.
