Clearly understand what you mean, bro. Im no less happy about current situation then you. Im trying to do my best in making activity, but in past mounth it was hard for me because of university. Yet I still most active player around (if not count VI)
I dont know what u mean by ''replacing them with some Russian who can't speak English''. Is it to my adress? Im only one Russian in SCRA atm. And, as you can see, I can speak English.
Adapting does not mean that we've killed the faction, changing our recruitment process did not kill the faction and asserting that I would allow anyone in my High Command to accept an applicant who can't speak English, let alone RP...is completely out of line, you should at least know me better than that.
Yes, the people in my High Command have varied degrees of experience as far as Disco leadership, but that's okay, they're not just there to help me out, they're also there to learn, and when they make mistakes, it's MY job to put them in their place, which I do.
Yes, Alvin leaving was a pretty major blow, but thanks to my efforts, and yes, even the efforts of some 'inexperienced' members of my High Command, we've managed to keep the faction alive, and for a time there, our activity even spiked as well.
Lest you forget, Jayce, even before Alvin left, the SCRA was a zombie faction, only logging substantial activity when raids took place. I changed that, at least for a little while.
Sure, I much prefer our old recruitment process, it was unique, it was cool, and yes, it was even intimidating, but the SCRA would not still be a thing, had we stuck to it, our faction activity was and is far too low for that, and we've lost too many members.
I didn't ask to be the leader of the SCRA, I had that responsibility dumped on me after Joey pushed Alvin out and then took off running for the hills when things got too hard for him.
I've bent over backwards trying to save this faction, but even I've come to terms with the fact that it will never again be what it was back when I was a junior member back in 2008 or so. It's a different faction now, but we've held onto the lore and the same values this faction has always had.
Were it not for me, and the other people who Joey threw into High Command during his brief time as leader, this faction would have died when he left.
I would just ask not to search for scapegoats when you screw up yourself. I do, in fact, understand that one persons inability to deal with situation calmly is not a problem of entire faction, but if he's caring faction flag, he represents factions players behaviuor.
Later going to whine and complaint in skype chat for supposed poor roleplay after your arse got kicked in battle and thus causing me and people I play with problems as well by misinforming some of the older members is not appropriete.
Maybe if you don't like to get shot down try playing some other faction. I know that some time already passed over, but I just had to get this out of my system.
Send me a PM with the details of what happened and what is bugging you, and I'll see it sorted out. The SCRA has a strict policy of showing respect to the adversary no matter what, motivated by the reasons you mentioned. It's a matter of etiquette. So on behalf of the faction, we're sorry if you felt offended at some point by one of our members.

As Lanakov said, we have a policy of etiquette that we try to follow. Unless this was a Skype chat outside of the SCRA, then I have not seen anyone complain, certainly not about poor roleplay on your part.
You'll have to be more specific as to the situation and the people involved, otherwise there's not much any of us can do.
Situation in Omega 3 a while ago while OPG was pirating. Like week ago or something? I don't know of any of you were involved. While I fought solo 1 vs 1, some of SCRA support tried to come to aid against sairs, but were cought by other OPG players.. and shot / chased down.
Appearantly one player who was coming to aid was very unhappy with everything and went to vent his rage on some chat, thus laming revived [OPG] tag. Which chat it was, I don't know. Ofc soon it was copied to other chats ridiculed at first and no-one care much, I guess it would be okey, dog is barking, caravan is going forward none the less. But it tipped one of the players who is really concerned about these type of issues and took those words like for real.
This in fact caused us some problems. One player due to interaction was temporary banned just for talking back in forums, responding to the missinformed member.
Player himself haven't acted disrespectfuly towards the people in game nor directly. So that's all okey, but just this childish behaviuor is really annoyin as it, appearantly caused problems for involved parties and even for 3rd parties.
Person involved (in game situation) as far as I know should have everything on video. Altough, I'm not sure if he will be willing to escalate this or to discuss this on his behalf.
Alright, I'll have a chat with the members in the chat. I can't really control what they say in Non-SCRA chats of course but I'll remind them to keep in mind that they represent the SCRA when they make comments like that.
I agree in that this behaviour is highly inappropriate.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention, please let me know over PM if it persists.
