Gentlemen,
on today's patrol, there were half a dozen of smugglers, those criminals really are on the rise! Our task of performing cargo scans is indeed a necessary one. Well, on to the report.
After my takeoff in Leeds, I encountered three vessels, flying in formation: Frey_Handel (Camara freigter), flipflop (Viper MkI) and UWO (a Titan!). Especially the last one made me raise my eyebrows. Scans showed all of them transporting light arms. I ordered them to halt and tell me their destination. They were beating around the bush a long time, but finally they spilt the beans about it:
I advised them to sell their freight in Bretonia and luckily, they did what they were told.
Meanwhile, the Bounty Hunter Captain Salome Delorme had joined me and proved to be a loyal and friendly support.
After a few seconds, my scanners went flashing - yet again. Two Junkers, Space-Foxx and Zero-Factor, both with Counterfeit Software aboard! They didn't halt their engines when ordered to do so, we began the chase. After a few tries to get out of Dublin, they finally complied and halted.
As stated in our cargo policies, I fined both of them for two million credits and let them continue their path.
To be honest though, I really don't think smugglers should be allowed to continue with their freight aboard, not even if it is seemingly harmless software.
Finally, there was a vessel belonging to the Colonial Remnant in Dublin, the =CR=Varsovia, a pirate train.
He was carrying a Nomad thruster, so I told him about our License. He then claimed to already have bought one yesterday, from Captain Scott, yet there is no entry in the registry.
What worried me even more, how come that Colonial was even tolerated in space? Have we changed our diplomacy towards the Remnant? Excuse me, should I not be up to date in this case.
However, I told the Colonial to leave Bretonian space and he did as asked. For now, I am on Planet Leeds, since an Ion Storm hit soon after that.

Sirs:
This situation was my own fault. I stopped the Varasovia for having a nomad thruster, and I insisted he purchase a license, which he did immediately. I made two errors, however: (1) I did not check the BPA diplomacy list (keeping an eye only on the watch list), and (2) I erred in reporting his purchase, both in timliness and in the spelling of his ship name.
He has indeed purchased a license, and I will insist on his immediate departure if I meet him again.
In addition, he gave me an extra 500K - something about Cardiff. If anyone has need of this, it is at your disposal.

Sirs,
This is Constable T.E. Lawrence reporting on today's patrols.
When I launched to space, I first met almost all of the team at New London, plus a very friendly Bounty Hunter called Sabine Delorme, a truly charming lady. I wouldn't have expected to find someone like that in the BHG. I got fully set up at Poole, and then started my job.
I was joined by Constable Stan Erwin, and we decided to equip him aswell. However, looks like unlawfuls didn't decided so. We were on our way to Poole when called by transports ransomed in Leeds by a Lane Hacker, Jason.Merced. As we approached him and issued the usual warnings, he fled to Magellan.
As we came back to New-London, three others Lane Hackers were spotted at Cambridge. We asked for support and were joined by a BAF officier, Atlantis-, and Sabine Delorme, the so delightful bounty huntress. After a first engagement, the Lane Hackers fled, seeing how outnumbered they were.
We were coming back to New London to equip Stan when a Corsair was reported in Leeds. We rushed there once more, but the Corsair didn't seem to have hostile intentions. It was a rather good news, since he was flying a COR Cruiser... We told him to leave Bretonia, and followed him until he jumped to Dublin.
Dublin was by the way in quite a mess, with this Corsair and some Kishiro flying around. We decided with some BAF cruiser to go and have a look when an sudden ion storm hitted us...
I woke up at Leeds Jump Gate and decided it was a really long time since I hadn't had a decent tea break.
In the whole course of event though, we didn't had time to set up Constable Erwin.
Well that's it. Now, how do I turn off this thing now ?
Maybe this one ? Nope, seems to be to start the shower.
This one then ?

Gentlemen,
just a short message: while on patrol today in Leeds, we've got a distress call from Red.Alfonso.
He claimed to be at the Tau 31 gate, but was nowhere to be found when we arrived at said place. Shortly after he jumped to New London and then to Cambridge without truly answering our questions.
We suspect this person of being the smart kind of a smuggler, so please watch out for him. We have no proof yet, but trying to scan this vessel is advised.
Outrageous! My sources tell me this is a Corsair supporter! Next time, becareful around him, and don't get tricked next time! Superintendant Lauderdale, I recommend that you make a roll call for all our members, as some I have not seen in a while. These officers should be considered KIA, MIA, or lazy biscuit eaters and tea drinkers. Remember, we have our duty to do, despite the goodness of tea and biscuits, we must continue. After our activity increased we have seen a HUGE drop in piracy and crimes here, well done chaps! There ain't no pots o' gold here!

Men,
A few things!
NSY has informed me that Red.Afonso is a CORSAIR! The man even speaks Spanish, from what the QCRF tells me. The next time he is stopped, make sure that evidence of smuggling is collected. I would not blacklist the man just yet, as we have no evidence.
Yesterday, Constable McNab, Heydon, Lawrence, and Trevelyan nearly had a full firefight with a group of elite Lane Hackers - they realized that the odds were against them. Our vigilance saved a FTS freighter bound for Harris, but because of this interruption, we lost pursuit of a certain smuggler, Raven-something I believe. If someone has the evidence, submit it now.
Mr. Trevelyan is to receive his Mark VIII armour.
On another note, all =CR= vessels are to be on Neutral again, as The Varsovia has bent to the laws of Bretonia. The other =CR= vessels are to be searched for nomad technology or weapons, and they will submit to licensing.
That's all for now.
Lauderdale signing off

Gentlemen,
I was advised by Officer Lawrence to forward the report about an earlier incident to this place, so erm... (how do you write such a report to the Police? Usually i just send a "Got him, send cash please" and append the logs). Here it goes i guess:
I was scanning two ships ("WamBO616" and "Hartmann") near new London, when my long-range sensors picked up the signature of a UoG vessel. I turned my manta towards it and met it just as it excited the tradelane. While scanning to make sure this was indeed a UoG vessel, and not merely an IFF error (brand new manta, but i swear the IFF reader has been put together by a 10 year old), the vessel opened fire in the general direction of the two civilians and me. I aborted the scan, but after that open show of hostility i enaged the Greyhound without further warning, stripping its shields. The bugger kept shooting, so i fired twice more. Although his craft was in no shape to continue the fight, the git made no attempt to disengage, so i figured i'd end the fight there and then.
Much as i would like (and no matter how much i thought so at the time), i cannot in good conscience claim the killing shot on the vessel after reviewing the logs. While i was the closest vessel, i was not the only one firing on the criminal; and cannot deliver proof or guarantee of it being me who blew the ship apart. I tractored in the escape pod, and delivered that suicidal maniac to the New London Temporary Incarceration Facility. At this point i would like to preempt a possible complaint by the constable on duty at the NLTIF, and state - for the record - that my suggestion to put the UoG dweeb into the same cell as a dozen Corsairs was merely a good natured jest, and in no way a serious suggestion!
I also had sensor contact with a vessel designated as [ASF]Destroyer again, but unfortunately lost its trail.
I'm not exactly sure how that's possible, as i assisted and witnessed its destruction yesterday. I suspect a larger hitherto unknown organisation behind what seems to be the mass production of destroyer class vessels. While seemingly not aggressive, one is left to ask just what their intention is in Bretonia - the Kusari design of those vessel brings up further concern about them. I informed the captain of the vessel that the Bretonian Armed Forces had put out a notice suggesting he is unwanted in Bretonian space, and suggested he leave on the shortest path, which he complied to.
That's pretty much all for today i think, so
For Queen. Country, and a cheque in the mail!

Subject: About the Bounty Hunters
Hello Sirs,
These last days, I met plenty of friendly Bounty Hunters, always ready to help the Queens and its loyal servants, the BPA. No later than this afternoon, the Corsair GB [OPG]Asno was rampaging in Cambridge when we tried to stop him with Constable Roxburg. He attacked us almost on sight, mocking us for having no bombers. I was quickly taken down, but hopefully tractored by Roxburg. I then used his com device to call for help, and we were joined by BAF Formidable and both BH Calo and the delightful Sabine Delorme. Asno was severely damaged and forced to flee.
It made me wonder about using the BHG. They are really helpful when no SRD members are around, but should we use then call them, or rather disengage when outgunned and leave ? And if we are to call them, couldn't we set a scale within the BPA to agree on their reward according to their tasks ?
For help with Asno, I personally promised them 1.5 mils each. Sabine had to leave, so I told her she could ask any BPA members at any time convenient for her. Don't be surprised when she comes. And Calo said he would wait to see if he is rewarding for taking down and bringing back the Molly, so that he will have a global reward.
Well, I hope it doesn't sound like I am wasting BPA money around, but I think their help was really needed given the course of action. If I overpaid them, please retain that sum of my biscuit and tea allocation.
Herm, I just calculated that it would means ten years without tea breaks, but I am ready should I face the consequences of my actions.
On another note, I caught today a trader carrying a shipment of Synthetic Marijuana near New-London. He refused to stop despite me giving him three warnings and left the system.
His name was Big_Tuna, and I hereby request him to be fined.
You will also see on the picture Calo questioning the [ASF]Destroyer. I also met him, and he was definitely a strange guy, telling me he would like to join the BPA. I told him certainly not with a Kusari Destroyer, and then he just mysteriously vanished...
Better check thoroughly the next BPA recruitment registrations, to avoid incorporating any Kusari spies.

Subject: Outfitting Confirmation and Suspected Smuggler
Good day sirs,
I would like to confirm that I have been successfully outfitted with both a Hussar and 2x Adv. Splitters and 2x Adv. Debilitators. My thanks to all BPA agents who assisted me in this endeavour.
After my first day of patrolling, I would also like to report a suspected smuggler operating in the Cambridge system. The Transport Hius was seen bringing Alien Organisms from the Edge World to Cambridge Research Institute and procuring VIP's for what appeared to be a trip to Rhineland. I was unable to hail him at the time being engaged by eight or nine Corsair pilots. After dealing with these said Corsairs with the assistance of a BAF Cruiser patrol, I followed said smuggler through the trade lane to Battleship Norfolk only to have him escape into the Southern Ice Fields. Unfortunately, I have been unable to procure any proof, and at this time can only pray for the safety of our Intellectuals in the Edge Worlds.
Thank you for accepting me into your fine institution,
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
