Especially the Alpha-Eta-Theta-Gamma route, as majority feel that travelling through all those systems right now, is a pain for the players.

How about no?
I was in that too. Which was the first and last of such raid I took part in. Also, what about reconsidering Zeta? It is still very long to travel and less populated. Another thing I would point out is the O81 system. Is there any way of restoring the Tau 37-Alpha route and giving 081 another purpose by linking it to Alpha-O81-Lorraine?

Treewyrm is still working on his Nomad Omicrons stuff. Ideally that will be released in Update 7.
Also, referring to a comment which is now 2 months old is irrelevant (and it's also difficult to see what it's replying to). The system links have been changed, and exclusion zones were added to Omicron Theta and Omicron Beta. In order to change that, I would for starters need feedback on the new route/layout.
Redesigning Zeta is part of Treewyrm's work.
I'm not inclined to link O-81 to Lorraine or Tau-37; if it were to link to something else, I'd be looking for a new idea.
Kappa being a chokepoint between Nomad space and the lower Omicrons and Sigmas is kind of annoying as it's the homeworld of the AI faction, is there no way to improve links? Either having to go through radiation-heavy space or nomad-infested space to get tot he core worlds is a bit harsh.
Still looking for a Alpha-Eta-Theta-Gamma connection.
The modified one is not that big a improvement between Gamma and Alpha from the current route. The result is clear via less OC sair activity. I dont want to see the biggest vanilla rivalry go down in this way.

A chokepoint relative to what travel path? Omicron-74 should now be traversible, if a slightly longer, to get from Delta to Theta or vice versa. This is intended to provide an alternative to travelling through Kappa to get to Delta.

Well, I have been toying with the idea of connecting Lamda to Eta, and making the stations/jump holes in Lambda closer to each other. However, the path specifically from Theta through to Beta through the Sigmas won't be changing. Otherwise, if there are problems with that route, you need to be much more specific about how you think it could be improved.
Let me reiterate: If you have concerns with recent changes, future plans, or the current layout, you need to be very specific about how you would like to see that changed. Because no two systems are equal, you cannot simply ask to have systems X-Y-Z connected in that order.
Well currently the Jumpholes to Lamba and 74 from Kappa are lost, I've been told this is a bug with release 6, but it's certainly making being an AI "interesting". Personally I'd like to see links to Lamba regained.

Well, that's definitely not a bug because I removed the links on purpose, to tie in with changes to Lamda and 74. However, if that feels a bit too "boxed in", I will consider re-establishing the Kappa-Lambda link.

To me it does, I'll poke the rest of the AI fleet to see how they feel about this.

Just a suggestion, if you decide to keep it - make a corridor free from asteroids in asteroid field on way to Delta.
Entirely redesigned in Treewyrm's Nomicron patch, I believe. At the very least I will encourage him to include exclusion zones in the asteroid fields in key areas.
