I agree.
Disco feels as if too many things have been put in and it made things very complicated to handle, e.g. when doing balancing.

Stopping the development of new things until the existing ships work well would be okay.

And for Pavel we can make an exception.

In short, there are modelers who wishes to create new models, so why inhibit their creativity by deviating them away from their current skillset?

True. Modellers actually make new models to improve themselfs get feedbacks, if it sucks to try harder and harder until they get Pro in this.

While the signature did not break any rules before, the lack of third party hosting caused your signature to take up over half of the page. Until the problem is fixed, I'll have to revert those images to links. ~Inferno

I am a very new player here and I don`t personally know the devs, let alone what their individual skillsets are, but as I used to mod myself, I can say that few people are the jack of all trades kind.

The few that are, are hardly top notch at everything. Not because they're lazy or just not good enough, its just that you get better by practice and sometimes you actually spend a lot more time studying some things than actually making it happen. Taking myself as an example, I could model in Wings 3D, work on animations through 3DSMax and texture, uvmap, and do some regular scripting through python, I became used to it because I was a one man team. The upside is that when you feel like dropping something for a while due to being overburnt, you just drop it and go develop something else. The downside is that you dont excel on a single trait, unless you dedicate a long extra time to focus on it.

Now the majority of modders are very good at one single trait, you can't expect a scripter to go do uvmapping instead, or a modeller/texturer to script, or write, or whatever it is that is out of their scope. Sometimes it is possible, like I said, but its hardly the case in most communities.
