Please don't give it to Zoners... Please! It's frustrating seeing people push Zoners into a place where other factions will have to krieg them, just to make Zoner military wet dreams come true so we can see the haphazard Zoner dev'ing unfold in all its capital glory... No thx.
A black market or freelancer system / second Coronado (before IMG/Colonials) would be great.

I'd have to look into it again, I'm not at my desktop. It sounds like things changed in the update that I'm not aware of. My original idea reflected changes to the state that's on the wiki, which is the shipyard, research base, Safe Haven, and Planet Braillia, which would be the last bastion of ROS, if there was still some interest in the faction.

Okay, whatev. These smaller details are kind of moot at this point, when we're still talking about whether the system should be an independent outlaw haven or removed altogether.
Another option would be (this was also part of my original idea) for the bases in Cayman to replace the Zoners' bases in O-74 (which would then be removed/repurposed), so that the Zoners don't really 'gain' anything and their 'home' is consolidated to the SW corner of Sirius, instead of being split, with the half containing our shipyard on the Corsairs' doorstep.

No zoners again, It can be a Independent System or Coalition system, You want to place Zoners in center or 2 big guns group and want to make zoner army?

First of all, these are suggestions, and I am pointing out the benefits they could bring. Please don't turn this into "Trogdor wants the Zoners to be an army."
Just a defense force for that small region. People who have settled into these derelict stations, and now these other groups want to take it from them and/or take their export, and so they are holding their ground.
I want to accomplish two goals.
1) Give indie Zoners a role for their non-trade ships, so they're not bored and blundering all over Sirius getting into trouble.
2) Stimulate activity in the region. Everyone likes shooting Zoners, yes?
And the Zoners don't necessarily need to take all of the stations. You could make Safe Haven a freelancer/pirate base or something. These ideas don't have to be mutually exclusive.
^We all know how that will pan out. Let's save ourselves the headache and keep Zoner paws off the system pls.
Zoners aren't really meant to shoot or get shot at. Diplomacy, neutrality, etc. Indie Zoners can take their big ugly ships to the Omicrons and destroy good snub brawls like they've always done. Shoot nommies, there's stuff to do.
