After all the bad news we have had recently I am happy to report some positive events for once.
About a week ago the Libertonian Primary Fleet launched a strike against the Rheinland Military in Hamburg. The attack force consisted mainly of fighter-class vessel with a capital vessel left at the rear for support. Nearby Widerstand forces were contacted and we swiftly joined the Libertonian forces in Hamburg with a number of fighters and a gunboat commanded by Oberst Klugmann.
The results of this cooperation between the Navy and the Widerstand were truly amazing. Numerous gunboats and capital-class vessels fell to our joint fleet. A few navy-pilots were shot down and our gunboat got taken out of action as well, but these loses, while unfortunate, were small compared to those of our enemy.
The success of the operation led to a conversation between Fleet Admiral Roy Sanders of the Liberty Navy during the aftermath of the battles. The events of that day led us to believe it would be useful for the Widerstand to have a Repair Ship. Apart from us being able to use them for our own affairs such as the reparation of Zwickau, the Liberty Navy would benefit from us having such a ship to assist them when they operate inside Rheinlandish territory. If their ships get damaged or taken out of action they would of course greatly benefit from a repair ship, but it is too hazardous for them to bring such a fragile vessel all the way from Liberty. We however are closer by and know how to sneak around inside Rheinland.
I set up an official agreement together with the Liberty Navy's Vice Admiral Hayes via this channel. We were to receive two Libertonian Repair Ships and in return the Liberty Navy would get 12 Luger Type D guns and 3 Luger Type C turrets.
My Humpback freighter, the VWA|Zeughaus, was filled with the requested weaponry and with a considerable escort wing consisting of multiple fighters I met with the Liberty Navy at a remote location. Fleet Admiral Roy Sanders arrived with several fighter escorts and two Repair Ships, the Langhorne and the Levittown.
The weapons transfer went without problems and together with the navy we escorted the repair ships to Bruchsal. However a number of BDM agents discovered us and would have attempted to stop us probably if they could. Fortunately having both a Widerstand and a Navy escort wing they were quickly distracted while I continued to guide the Repair Ships to Bruchsal, soon rejoined by the escort ships who dealt with the threat.
Having successfully completed the exchange I made sure people got straight to work and make the ships ready for active service. As per request of Oberst Klugmann one has been moved so as to put them straight to use. I also made sure their transponders have been updated to indicate that the ships are Widerstandsreparaturschiffe and renamed the ships to Haymarket and Seeger. Both relate to pre-exodus American history to reflect their Libertonian origins.
The Langhorne has been renamed to VWA|WRS-Haymarket and was moved to Eltmann Outpost to aid in the recovery from the Munich Disaster.
The Levittown has been renamed to VWA|WRS-Seeger and was moved to moved to Zwickau Depot to aid in the recovery from 'Remember Zwickau'.
That concludes my report. I am convinced these vessels will be valuable assets to our cause and our cooperation with the Liberty Navy appears to be more fruitful than ever. Freya Eistochter

Well, not really, but it sounds neat, doesn't it? Thought you guys might be missing me by now, so I wired up a few non-critical reports to feed into the system every so often. Not too long after Alex and I dropped that Rheinland pilot, Wolfgang, off at Freeport One I ran across an Order transport by the name of Pharoh (piloted by one Aaron Johnson) heading back for central Rheinland. I'm not sure if he's insanely brave or suicidally stupid, but he was flying a train full of Deuterium to Kreuzberg to exchange for weapons. From the Junkers. The Order must be getting pretty desperate if they're looking to scrap monkeys for guns. Not that we're any better, I guess, but I did expect something a bit more dramatic. Anyway, despite using the jump network to travel from Stuttgart to New Berlin, he made the trip in one piece, so who am I to judge?
The rest of the trip back to Bruchsal was pretty quiet, really, though there was a message from Wolfgang waiting. Apparently his brother-in-law managed to get his family off world before the BDM did, which is handy. He's also asked us to ask for Hans Weber, if we ever come across the warship RNC-Ludwigsberg. Apparently he's the Captain. Figured we're not too likely to see the ship, but I told him we'd ask if we did.
Hope no-one's missing me too much. Also, could someone check to make sure Cameron hasn't tried fixing Nick's capacitor by himself? The part should be in by now. Just put it in storage, and I'll sort it when I get back.
Just a note to let you know I'm back. Trip went pretty well, I'll probably tell you all about it later, when I'm not falling asleep in my chair. Anyway, I should be getting back to work again over the next few days. Got to secure that new module on Bruchsal, apparently. And the armory's full of guns, so there's definitely that.
See you all in space again soon.

So that went a little less well then we'd planned. Alex and I rocked up to support the Hessians and Raiders in their attack on a base on Dresden, only to be attacked by...Er... The Hessians. Not the Hessians we were meant to be helping, another group.
It's a complex situation, okay?
I arrived a little late, so I didn't manage much more then firing off a few volleys at an Odin and watching Metropolis jump out with a few nasty scratches. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure who was fighting who there. Alex was co-ordinating the forces there quite nicely when I arrived (about when the rest of us turned around). The Coalition bought Havana to the party as well, and she's moored at Zwickau until it's time for round two.
We might be down, but we're definitely not out. Anyway, I've got to go, Met's waiting for us.

Not sure if you're listening in, but we just got a note from the Coalition. Since you've dealt with them before and (I'm guessing here) can pronounce their names without summoning some multi-headed abomination from a long-forgotten planet three galaxies away to come and consume souls, would you mind helping them out on this one?
Just a quick update on the situation back home. I've managed to shift those guns Alexander collected earlier over to Zwickau for the boffins to pull apart and, er, it looks like there's not quite as much to them as we originally thought. They're only early versions at the moment, but we should have some replicas rolling out at Zwickau by the time you get this message, you know, if anyone wants to pretend to be a police officer or anything. Hey. Not here to judge. Just make sure you don't go poking the Hornvipers after firing, they're getting a bit hot at the moment. Might be something to do with the way it interfaces with the ship's life support, but I'm sure we'll get it figured out soon enough. For now, you just might want to bring an ice pack.
I've also been doing some playing around with that code I dropped on Arsenal a while back, if anyone remembers. You know, the one where I nearly killed anyone? Anyway, moving on. It's mostly an issue of control at the moment, so I'm working on a remote-controlled option based at Bruchsal to get the inputs sorted out before I try it on anything bigger. At the moment, I've based it on a Marauder carcass we had lying around, so no-one panic if you see a fighter without life support floating around Frankfurt. It'll just be calling itself VWA|Drone.01 at the moment, and it's not really capable of much on its own, but say hi if you're going past. I'll probably be on the other end.
Take it easy.

The drone project's..Er.. Taking a little longer then I thought it would. Haven't killed anyone yet though, which is nice. Anyway, so you all know, I'll be out of space pretty much indefinitely from the time you get this message. Just want to see how this works out, I guess. It'll probably keep me pretty busy, so nevermind me if I don't respond to messages. I'm probably still alive. Probably.
Feel free to drop by Zwickau sometime if you want to catch up. Just... Let me know if you're swinging by first. Don't want to electrocute anyone. I'm sure Freya'll be okay to take care of things.
Right?

It's been a while. I... Er... Sorry I didn't stay in touch. Had my head in a ship. You know how it is. Maybe. Or you could, you know, if any of you lot felt like maintaining your own birds someday. It's fun, really. I promise. Nope? No takers. Well, can't blame me for asking.
I won't be flying again any time soon - looking after probes is hard work - but I figured it can't hurt to drop in, see who's still around. Is anyone still around? Bruchsal's a big rock for me to be sitting out here by myself, even with my skills at thumb-twiddling. I mean, I'm not even a Rheinlander by birth. It'd be kinda sad if I'm the only one still home.
I guess what I'm asking is; Is anybody alive out there? Alex? Erich? Steve? Axel?
Anyone?

I'll admit, Sarah, I thought you'd run off on us back to the safety of Liberty. I'd never suspected you to actually be here.
Oberst is gone, the Witch is vanished and I have no idea where Fuchs has gotten to. But I'm here, alongside a few grounded patriots, wanting to do their part for Rheinland's people.
If you give me access to your S.K.Y.P.3 communicator, I can get you back into the instant messaging system.
Arsenal's initial load of nanorobots was below capacity – an oversight I did not become aware of until after the ship was in flight. While the number of machines missing in this instance was negligible, larger omissions would seriously impact survivability of the craft in engagements. Consequently, I have filed a request with engineering to have the ship systems order any required replacements on landing.
An IMG Battlecruiser, flashing a Colonial identifier and engaged with numerous snubcraft, was detected in Omega 5, en-route to Omega 9. As Arsenal was fully loaded and comparatively unarmed, I chose not to invite attention by opening a communications channel.
