I doubt that changing the system layout will change player activity.
Also I don't like /conn to be deleted. If the server would be FULL
then I would like it deleted, but now there's no lag from player
activity, so let them pvp in /conn if they like.
The economy is better then ever. Now it's possible to
supply npc-stations with profit inRP. Of course there are some minor
tweaks to do. I.e. Gate/Lane parts are expensive, they should be more
profitable to haul than cheaper goods.
It all comes down to player behaviour. The player group is smaller,
so we need to get nearer to each other, instead of trying to populate
Omicron.Lost or Tau.Somewhere or Gallia.
In my opinion it is wrong to try to get more activity in the Omicrons
or Omegas or even Taus. That are borders. The activity should be
concentrated more central.

Thats yust the problem in my opinion.
If the server is not full, players should defenetly not be in Conn.
If there are enough players , maybe some can be in Conn.
But i rather see that they do training in their Guard systems.

The amount of times I have heard the statements that 'nobody goes to Gallia', 'people left because Gallia was expanded' and 'Gallia is the cancer of Disco' is unbelievable.
I cannot for the life of me understand why people would leave a Game because the Devs put in Gallia. If you don't like Gallia, don't go there. How hard can that be? And if nobody goes there then does it matter that it is there? It allows people to explore and see more than a handful of Systems that some seem to want to happen.
As for Conn - I couldn't care less whether it stays or goes. If the Server was permanently full and 40 people were sat in Conn then I possibly see the argument for getting rid of it. But seeing as the Server maxes out about 140-150 on a good day. I don't see it is a problem.
As for the people who complain for ooRP money making using Jump Drives. So what? This economy is a pixel economy which you can't damage. The Game doesn't care if there is 500 Billion Credits in it or 5000 times that much. So what would a wipe do other than upsetting a lot of people?
I also see a lot more ooRP money making that nobody seems to mention. People who spend a lot of times on Forums buying/selling Ships/Armour/Weapons. At least the Jump Traders make their money in Game and not out of it.
Within this Game there are quite a few distinct Groups:
PvPers:
These people are harcore PvPers and seem to live for the epic Space Battles. They will hop from one fight to another and tell each other how great the Fights were.
RPers:
These people are hardcore RPers that spend all their time hopping from one encounter to another. They enjoy spending hours just talking to each other and never even shooting a gun.
Builders:
These like building their Bases and in some respects they enjoy the RP that goes with it.
Traders:
This group also includes the Smugglers. This Group can be broken down in to those who grind for the shiny toys and those that don't. The latter people enjoy going around finding new routes to make profit. Some also do it to RP when the chances occur. Not all Traders spend their time making millions/billions so that can buy big shiny Ships with all the best items.
Then there are the majority of people who blend in to 2 or more of these Groups.
The problem is with people is that they only tend to see things from their Point of View.
Not everybody, within this Game, want to get the same things out of the Game.
There are certain people who post all these 'great ideas' but all they are interested in is in their opinion or possible of those of like mind.
The Devs (and it doesn't matter if you like them or not) have tried over the years, I would hope, to accommodate for all the people and not just one select Group. The problem when you tried to help one Group more than the others is that the others all deem it to be unfair. Their job is a thankless job as there will always be people, no matter how hard you try, who will find fault with what they do.
Even those that post and say they can do a better job, lets get rid of the Devs and replace them with better people, will find that those new Devs will have people who disagree with what they are doing. It is a vicious circle that will never end.
The other thing I see is people saying 'well I gave the Devs my ideas and theydidn't use them'. Maybe the Devs have hundreds/thousands of ideas from people. So which ideas do they implement? It is a difficult decision to make. These Devs don't get paid, as far as I know, and do it to make a better Game. Nobody is infallible.
There are certain aspects within this game that I don't like but it is a Game that doesn't cost any of us money to play, unless you send money in, so at the best we are merely guests here and should respect our Hosts and the work they do. Even if you do contribute money to keep the Server going it doesn't give you any extra say here. Everybody has an equal say whether they have been here 1 day or 10 years.

The ability to write tons of things and say nothing in the same moment... I admire that.
Try and leave the tightrope you are currently treading, there are a number of your recent posts that add nothing but a snideness we could do without - Tunicle

That's the whole 3 people (and one Sirlagsalot trolling them), who contribute to nothing, except for their bank accounts.
Now go to Valetta shipyard, sit there a day and watch for dozen of jumped barges.
Also, yes, I'm jealous.
Alsoalso, I like the traders, who don't trade for money.

The right clarity isn't jealous. It is all those hours of effort spent in trading, mining and you go to texas see a barge with scrap, ask "Howdy, Whats up." And you receive ooRP replies like "go away!" and etc. And only to think that these same individuals are supposed to SRP a barge would let you think that at least they are good at RPing. I am against someone with half a brain to gain 20 times the credits I gain for 10 minutes or less.
