I've already given my suggestions as to how to fix this without utterly destroying the route.
JM are still working on their mining document. I have no idea about the Congress though.
It does when it is basically lawful traders that are exempt from piracy due to the fact that most pirates - affiliated or unaffiliated - rely on Junker bases or are dependent on their trade in lore. Then add super high profit from mining and hauling prem scrap to Alpha, claiming neutrality with OC-aligned pirates (which is all) all the way there. It's a house zoner ID with a mining bonus in many ways, if you choose to play it like that. I think the players that really love junkers will go on playing them, even if the massive profit isn't there.
The way to fix this is by slighty (-1k) nerfing the unlawful sell points, whilst considerably buffing Yokohama. (+2k-3k)
Result:
-Scrap won't be nerfed to hell
-There will be more variation in haulers as Junkers can't dock on Samura bases, these haulers will also keep on lanes.
-Unlawfuls and Junkers won't be robbed of decent Premium Scrap routes.

I totally agree with this. It would be good to see lawfuls haul Premium Scrap. They don't, because it does not worth it.
On OP:
Good luck with the new faction. However, I agree withe the others, why didn't you join Congress or JM? Or why didn't you stayed as a group? You also want to put up a recruitment, that's why becoming a faction?

Junkers using lanes? o.O They SHOULD be flying through open space...the smugglers that use lanes to cross California/New York in a pirate train full of cardamine are just...doing it wrong.
