Raven's Talon . want that vibe back

Which is a rip off of what was NEEDED to be changed which was:

Which is basically making a Waran and then adding a tail fin at the end and calling it the Raven's Talon.

I mean, why? Why remove the sleek sexy design that looks like what the name is?

Basically this. While the Raven's Talon (or, Raven's Claw as it is known in SW) is one of my favorite designs, I can't say it has any place in discovery atm. Besides, the current Raven's Talon looks fine, if a little bit too similar to the Waran.

Also, I'd say there are much more pressing development concerns with ships than the Raven's Talon design. But, if you or someone you know can make something better, I'm sure the devs would look into it.

Basically: Don't like it? Do it yourself then. We have other things to worry about than an extra tail fin.

K. So suppose I actually did draw up something.
Then I would need a modeler to help do it.

But basically my question is this: Is it really worth doing the "no imports" rule when the design you choose to replace is worse than the original?

You know im not saying the design is bad but it deserves its place replacing the waran. NOT another ship as well.

That it is worse than the original is your personal opinion, that the old one was an import is a fact, let's keep these two things and the difference between opinion and fact in mind, please.

The current RT is sexy, so is the Waran, I'd rather like the infocards of these two ships changed to get these two into the same civilian shipline inRP too. If you want the old one, go and play JK2 or JKA, it has some cameo appearances in those games here and there.

I would tweak it's stats a bit, rather than the looks. Since, like it's brother in the Civ Shipline (or is it civ?), the RT is as slow and easy a target as the Eagle.

I love the new Ravons Talon, and the Waran. The fact that they look alike can be just said is because of the fact they are the same shipline. Take a look at coalition ships, they all look similar style aswell, with one or two tweaks, like one having a spoiler and another fins. I don't see a big problem here.
