Freeport4 already IS a Liberty Navy base (or it eas the last time I checked).
on OP: if I'm right, you will enforce the law with iron fist, and you chose the Xeno ID as it gives you more libetry to deal with smugglers in a deadly way. Will other aspects of Xeno ID play a part in your RP? Like, will you shoot a Junker hauling copper ore that he got in a legitimate way (not via cargo piracy)?
Due to ID limitations, we will have to ignore the encounter on an OORP basis. The interaction did not happen.
It is just a limitation we might need to work around in a different manner at some point, but right now it is the only solution due to conflict with the server rules.
EDIT: TLR we will need to avoid other Xeno IDed players, essentially.
I agree with Protegee, there are too many unlawfuls and chaotics already, and I am not talking about border systems, I am talking Core systems like Colorado and Manhattan just to have ONE example.
And to be frank, since this IS a RP server, this makes no bloody sense, yes we have a lot of unlawful and chaotic players and rather few that stick to the lawfuls...or at least take their "Quasi Lawful" ID serious like several LSF I have met by now, who ignore most criminals, but RP wise alone, it makes NO sense at all that pirate and unlawful activity is THAT high in a core system like Manhatten, logical speaking there would be at LEAST twice the amount of cruisers, gunboats, battleships, destroyers and so on from the security and law enforcing fleet on the Liberty side as a reaction to the rise of the unlawful activity, that is, in my own opinion if not in fact.
I admit I am rather new and not THAT much into the story, but as far as I know, Liberty is the LAST to let unlawfuls like the Xenos, Rouges, Outcasts, Lane Hackers etc run rampant as they do at this moment.
I think the Admins and Moderators , Dev's should link in on matters like these, to balance out factions that tip the scale too much into the "Background wise BS" direction, unless they WANT to have playeractivity decide the weight of a scale.
P.S. The fact that such a faction then ignores what they have SWORN to fight against, makes me think that, until a seperate ID for said faction can be utilized, or the server rule get's somehow edited to fit such a thing if the Admins want that, this is BS.
"I know what she meant to you...but this is war laddie!"

Wait what?
I don't think vigilantes are unlawfuls, except that they chose the Xeno ID which gives them a far more freedom to execute what they had in mind, flawlessly. Also, gameplay =/= Lore. If you see a lot of unlawfuls in NY, doesn't mean that they have to be less in number. No one can stop anyone from playing an Open ID, as long as they stick to the rules and ID restrictions. I don't see a valid point in your post.
After some extensive discussion within the tiny group of players, we have decided that since the faction is nameless, there is no reason to use a tag. The ships will be named after gods/godesses of justice and law just to make things a little bit more obvious though.
It will also make it harder for the other vigilante group to hunt us down for using xeno IDs and having killed some junkers on alt characters.
