Item 1 - Outcast attacks
Increased activity by Outcasts; they are coming right into with striking distance of New London itself. One ship Habakuk.HX, a Falcata Bomber, engaged me without warning after I requested him to halt in orbit. He was no real match for the agile Hussar i was in and I pursued him to the debris field near Trafalgar. While engaged in the pursuit of this ship, I received an SOS from a group of BH pilots being held in the hold of another ship, an Eagle VHF call-sign sickboy. I noticed traces of cardamine in scans that I ran. The vessel refused an order to stop, and a fight ensued. I managed to down sickboy, however the first vessel used the cover of the fuel explosion to make himself scarce. I suspect he may have landed on Trafalgar. I have filed charges against him which covers all details, such as ship, etc.
Later I made my way to assist Vimes at Southampton deal with an Outcast vessel - [101st]Vince.Pinicio. There was a large amount of ion activity in the vicinity which played havoc with Vimes' navcom, and eventually the systems on all ships shut down. It was an eerie feeling just watching everyone floating helpless. The outcast drifted beyond the reach of long-range scanners and vanished. He is a known criminal in Bretonia.
Item 2 - [Merc]Wolfkin
This vessel, a Kusari manufactured Bomber, attacked without provocation after I made my back to New London. If it weren't for the assistance of a BH gunship, call-sign [Core]Melbourne, I might have been done for. I lost a good class 9 advsplitter in his initial onslaught and the impact of a torpedo destroyed my scanner recording panel, so I am unable to log details of his ID status. Vimes appears to have run into the blighter too, and he has looked after the paperwork on this one.
Item 3 - [CORE]Melbourne
The captain of this vessel requests contact from our accounts department as he claims to have credits due to him. I would have dealt with the matter but I was called to southampton to assist Vimes,(item 1 above)

Good Evening sirs,
Today was a very eventful day. It started quite normally. A roll out of bed, followed by a flick of the telie, and a nice cup of tea with a muffin followed by the soothing sound of my Hussar launching from the Cambridge Launch Pad. Things soon turned awful, as, little to my knowledge, since I was recovering from several nasty Corsair spills, the planet was blockaded by Corsairs!
They engaged me soon after I launched from the planet, and I engaged cruise engines and ran as quickly as I could. I arrived in New London completely fine, if missing several countermeasures. I then conversed with Constable Roy Brown. We talked for a bit, and he left with a few Bounty Hunters to engage the Corsairs. I circled New London once, and returned to Cambridge to engage the scum. Luckily for Mr. Brown, I arrived just as the Corsairs destroyed his vessel. He fought quite well, though, as he and the Bounty Hunters took down three Bounty Hunter vessels before my arrival. I tractored in his pod and rushed to assist the few Bounty Hunters remaining.
It was originally just me and Gonta facing a Tiger Shark, Titan, and a Praefect Cruiser. We were soon joined, though, by the [Merc]Wolfkin. Gonta was taken down soon after Wolfkin arrived, but Constable Lawrence joined us from the planet as well. We focused on the Titan, and were steadily taking him down, switching off suppressive fire when we were under fire from the Cruiser. Although we took down the Titan, the Corsairs were soon joined by another Tiger Shark. We were yet unsuccessful at downing the first Tiger Shark, and the Corsairs were bringing in another Titan and a Gunboat. Constable Lawrence and I decided to retreat, and did so with Wolfkin.
On the topic of [Merc]Wolfkin, I personally think he should be given a second chance, even if watched closely. He fought bravely against the Corsair Menace, and even more passionately than the Libertonians. This, however, is just my opinion, and I am, in no way, looking to overstep my bounds.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.

Mr. Vederman,
I am inclined to believe so as well, after receiving intel that Wolfkin is especially prejudiced towards our grave enemies, the Orbital Power Gnomes.
If his conduct continues as such, I am sure that the Queen is more than willing to forgive a few scratches on her fine officers. I can only hope that our officers may do the same.

Sir,
Although I do not think that such a blatant offense against Bretonian Authorities should be taken lightly, I understand as well that we are in need of any assisstance available against those Orbital Power Gnomes. So, I will trust your reliable ability to judge and hope that my next encounters with this mercenary will be more pleasant.
But the Raven, sitting lonely on that placid bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered; not a feather then he fluttered--
Till I scarcely more than muttered, "Other friends have flown before--
On the morrow he will leave me, as my Hopes have flown before."
<blockquote>Then the bird said, "Nevermore."</blockquote>

The vessel [Core]Melbourne serves as a representative unit in Bretonia space for the Bounty Hunters Guild Core. It is collecting the bounties claimed by the members of the Core, such as the bomber [Core]Inevitable.
Thanks to Mr Lawrence for paying a part the sum we owe those Hunters. I will compensate your expenses as soon as we meet in space.
In the future, just redirect such transaction requests to Captains or higher, should you not have the necessary amount of credits available.

Dear Sirs,
I did a quick patrol of several systems today, almost without incident. Coming to the NY->Cambridge JG, there were no Corsairs in Cambridge. Upon my entering, however, one seemed to come in from the Omega-5 JH. I noticed this as I arrived at the planet, so I turned around to head back to NL. As I reached the Cambridge->NL JG, I was stopped by the independent pirate BlueBeard, who demanded 500K. As I was attempting to reply, which I apparently did not do fast enough, the pirate attacked. I did not defend as well as I would have liked, and my Hussar was destroyed in short order.
My pod was picked up later by Cmdr. Brock of QRC. I thank him for delivering me to Leeds Medical, where I am recovering. I should be back up and around today or tomorrow.

We are indeed aware of Mariko Keitan. She has been of great assistance to us in the past, and I am sure will continue to be so in all our ......ah....... endeavours. She should be treated with the utmost respect.
The GC appear to be an honourable group, in so far as I am aware of them, and will indeed be a useful pressure valve in our struggle against the Kusari regime.
As for their trustworthyness, I must consult with Juno Keitan. Her knowledge of the organisation will no doubt prove invaluable.

Subject: Pilots saved and [Merc]Wolfkin
Greetings Sirs,
I first would like to report what could be seen as a small victory in our defeat against the Corsair Fleet yesterday at Cambridge. As Constable Vederman explained it, we eventually decided to retreat seeing how outgunned we were. I could however rescue in my cargo hold some pilots I had tractored on a Corsair we took down. I handed them to the BPA HQ at New-London for them to be interrogated and maybe released if proven not dangerous.
Now, concerning the [Merc]Wolfkin, I met him later yesterday as he was training with some friends at Leeds. Given the good reputation of his friends, Mariko Kietan, Gonta and the [QCP] Juno Kietan, I tried talking with him before engaging retaliations. He was less than eager to obey me, and told me he felt no remorse in trying to kill one of our Officer. He even told me he would do it again if somebody was paying him enough. Things were going to turn ugly when the QCP Juno Kietan stepped in. She asked her friend to leave Bretonia, and only then he did.
I would therefore recommend him maybe to be removed of the Bounty List, but still to be kept on our Watch List. He can still be a threat to any of us, without any warnings. I think, as Captain Vimes stated it, that we should now be very inquisitive about the Mercenaries/Bounty Hunters entering Bretonia, as we seem now to have personal enemies ready to pay the price to see us down. And apparently, not all the Mercenaries are driven by a sense of honor as the Mandalorians are.

I write this report as I puff on my pipe and enjoy a spot of tea. Fortunately, for a change, there was not much going on in Bretonia space this evening. I ran into some Corsairs and dispatched them and provided an escort for the Gateway Shipping carrier Trafalgar from Kensington Shipping Platform to Planet Cambridge. That was the extent of my evening
I say, I had a rather strange occurrance two evenings ago. I received a report of a Colonial Remnant ship being seen in the Leeds system. I was attempting to locate it when two Union of Gold ships gave me an offer of assistance, stating they would join in if hostilities broke out between myself and the Colonial Remnant ship. Being a relatively new constable, I was caught off guard. I had assumed that our respective groups were on opposite sides of the law. Is there some sort of memo I may have missed? If so, I need to improve my relations with the Mollys.

MR. Higgins, I see you didn't get the memo. The Mollies are at the moment offering their help to us against our enemies. Also, they have turned from their terrorist ways...atleast the Union. Reports of a radical Molly group, the D.R.A (Dublin Revolutionary Army) are coming in. They seem to stay with their terrorist ways, as do some independents. Don't let this trick you into believing all Mollies are bad however. If the UoG are available, you have my permission to call for backup.
