That must be changed by encouraging RP and stuff.
We could if we doubled the buy price and sell price of all commodities. That'll make them think twice about trying to silently fly next to a pirate.

And yes im talking about Snub cloaking.
Snub cloaking also is vulnerable to missiles especially GB and higher. They were also nurfed quite well. I really still see no issue as there are plently of ways to counter. If you are against a cloaker then keep scanning to see if he is engaging cloak as his fuel will drop once his shield is down. if it goes down then keep CDing him until the 1 min passes and done.
if the argument comes to JHs and JGs, well then sir that is a counter to a counter. Simple as that.
if you jump out of a JH even and spam CMs then you wont get hit either by a CD that easily. the thing you say about being able to get chased, imo, you just need to get to the nearest lane and drop a mine. done.
A) CDs don't track after the person who used cloak, is cloaked. That was a bug, not an intentional thing and is now gone.
B) The charging time for fighter cloak is 3 seconds, await until you get deshielded and then use cloak. The time it takes to check if you are using the ammo, CDing and until the CD reach is usually above 3 seconds. If you suggest CD spam - given the fact you can keep thrusting - you can just make your chaser run out of CDs quickly enough.
C) You can move at a complete sphere in space. The beeping sound which will stay around for only ~10 seconds after the enemy cloaked won't help you to find him. You need a network of players for that, and not just 3-4 but at least 10 to actually know which direction he's going AND catch up to him.
D) the JHs/JGs thing is a bug in cloak, it's OPed, sure, but it's also not intentional and on the to-be-fixed list, so I won't refer to it either on a negative or positive.
E) When someone with CMs run to a JG (also what you suggested is only true with a JG, there are still plenty of JHs around, in fact more than JGs). You can do a very amazing thing - it's called go after him and kill the lane. In order to kill the lane you need to be at a range of about 700m from it, so even if he does have a small lead - won't really matter.

Don't you see that it is a very bad game if everyone does that? Is it even a game?
Except everyone doesn't do it. Just those folks (most likely vets) who like to use exploits to get/avoid blues.
Let me tell you something: I play this game usually with a ping around 120-145ms with 1-2% lag on a good day. If I play at peak hours on a weekend, I'm usually pushing a 200ms ping with anywhere from 12 - 30% lag or HIGHER... so the sad reality is that my chances of successfully killing someone with any amount of skill in a snub fight is not very good, no matter how hard I train, either. Some folks even whine that I shouldn't even be playing with the lag because I'm "cheating," which is also a load of horse puckey.
But I still play the game and I enjoy it (mostly), because all of my fun isn't really limited to the amount of blues I'm getting. Is it nice when it does happen? Sure. Do I think a whole series of equipment needs to be removed to make that easier on me? No.
I've already suggested multiple times that all cloaks need are an effective counter (which are NOT CDs) and they are perfectly fine. Any argument I've seen on here to the contrary just stinks of whining and sour grapes.
