No point, it'll just be Rayburn all over again where inRP it would never make sense that HF would allow a Junker POB to be made in their home system, much like how GRN would never allow a POB to be made on the Leeds JH in New London.
It's probably just best it gets moved to Puerto Rico or Kansas, for the sake of activity, sense and player investment.
To become useless ans spend player time to fuel it? Anyway, since when a faction get an Ore field in his home system. I don't say it has something to see with the fact that echo is HF leader, but you have to admit that it's strange.
Especially just after Hf started hostilities with us when we were neutral since a while. Coincidence, Coincidence.
HF should be shooting Junkers already, but their ID prevents them from doing so. They used to be able to, but their IDs were overly nerfed.
Not so. HF and Congress have a long history. When a plague overtook their fleet, it was Congress that flew in medical supplies. When nobody else would bring supplies to them, who was there? Congress. It wasn't until recently (when they became allied with Xenos) that any hostilities were directed at Junkers. Even so, we have never shown open hostilities to them due to their choice of allies. Moving the base to Puerto Rico would serve no purpose. If anything I would suggest it be moved to Texas and used as a scrap station in the southern most fields. This would give Liberty Government a new source of revenue (base fees) and further opportunity to role play with us. Our grievance doesn't stem from not being able to move the base, but being forced to rewrite the established (3 years worth of) rp. Having years worth of rp taken from a faction every single update is getting old. I do not see other factions having their ore fields depleted, and lets face it, there are quite a few out there that have been mined far more than ours. The only reason this is happening is because the Devs disagree with us building and maintaining a successful station. Our entrepreneurship and diplomacy seems to be a thorn in the side of the Dev team. So lets continue throwing RP out the window on this RP server.

Well, according to the current [HF] faction which is composed of old [HF] membership, current faction relations are hostile (at least towards Junkers). People can always try to change things though (but huehuehue brb requesting line on JM ID to shoot HF ID'd ships).

I do not understand the reasoning for putting the ore fields in Vespucci at all, it makes no sense. Legion does not get any mining bonus. You want to make it accessible to any miner, transport and pirate imo. No other faction in the game has ore fields in their home system..... this is very confusing.

Only solution: Give HF ID a mining bonus.
That makes even less sense.....while we're at it give Nomads mining bonuses and turn the Marduk into a 5k transport....lol. i think if you're going to change years of Rp done by a faction you have to give appropriate Rp reason in return.
I was joking, though would it be that far fetched? DSE might supply them with mining equipment, since HF fight for the civilians. It won't be uncanny for non-traditional mining factions to get mining bonuses soon, since the Order ID and the (BHG) Core ID are getting mining bonuses.

Sorry that's not possible at the moment. A single HF can camp the jump hole that the pirate will use in order to enter Vespucci or the Freelancer station.
Giving ore fields into a homeworld is something that no dev had ever done so and with good reasons. Time will prove me right.

If Ravager will be moved like I suggested, thus making the Magellan hole also opened up for pirates, it will allow 3 access points into the system, all from which a pirate can enter. If you have 3 HF ships, each guarding each hole, while you mine - I think you have "earned" your safe mining.
Also, I didn't see hordes of people complaining about Nagano or Humboldt or even Okinawa, for example. Even though that after the restructure of Vespucci the two will be quite similar.
In fact, coming to think about it, Humboldt and Vespucci in that manner will be identical, as Humboldt has 3 access points - Kansas, Puerto Rico and Vespucci, and only 1 NPC base - Rogue base.
Honestly don't care about Vespucci getting a mining field since it is getting de-guarded just don't understand why both fields that inRP have been being mined by DSE for the junker run PoB of Saltese just suddenly goes to Vespucci. Just doesn't make sense.

So yeah, how is it any different from that?
You honestly can't see the difference?? There is a huge difference between an indy system like Humboldt and a Home system like Vespucci. It's not a matter of how many jumpholes there are it's a matter of who controls it. Vespucci is a home system controlled by HF, that means limited access to the system.
it's very hard to suddenly decide to change factors that players were using for AGES building tons of RP and throw it to the waste just like that ....!
it's very important to do the changes that you see fit TECHNICALLY and the rest should be depending on the player's wishes and demands... why? because
players play here... and they play to find fun and they abide the rules and the system and start working lots of efforts to gain what they gain ...
You can't suddenly destroy the future of Saltese, the Junkyard, La fortaleza !
Each base of those is built for a Purpose which is a FACTOR that you are removing now ......
this is not fair sir. sorry for saying my opinion honestly, i am bad at decorating words.
