Flew with some of your guys once recently and it was a good experience, it seems that 5th has changed a lot, in a good way I mean.

Well what do I say. I was introducing a new player to disco. Took some uncut diamonds in ALG colossus ships, showed him O7,O3, Cambridge and NL. Then came to Liberty, texas, showed the p-scrap mining fields and in NY was stopped by one of you guys 5th|John.Armada & 5th|Scorpio. I would like to point out some things.

Firstly the interpretation of the Laws. Section 3 under the Equipment Section.

"Exceptions: ALG vessels with correct transponder and identification papers are permitted to pilot the Colossus Rheinland Train, Behemoth Medium Transport and Uruz Container Transport within Liberty. Synth Foods vessels operation under the Synth| tag are also permitted use of the Behemoth Medium Transport. The vessels Dumpster.Diver and Skip.Raider are permitted to operate Pirate Transports within the system of Liberty." source: http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread...#pid184926

This Clearly states that ALG can fly the colossus in Liberty space, which when I pointed out, the player flatly said "Things change".

Secondly which i found most immersion breaking was the pilots flatly ignored a pirate and a HellFire Legion, just a few clicks away from then and concentrated all their energies on escorting me out of the system. They considered a unarmed trader, who is allowed into Liberty a bigger threat than the Pirate and the Hellfire Legion.

For a Faction that represents the Liberty Navy,ignorance of the Liberty Laws is not excusable. Please do get your act together.

Allright. I don't even know what to say. Iam disappointed. First of all accept my appologie. Never thoought that this can happen. On the side of the players they already told me what happened and they got their punishment. Again iam sorry that you had to go trough this. It will not happen again.

So this. You're RP-wise being paid by the government to do this already. Bounty Hunting is for private citizens who want to be sanctioned to kill for the government, not for active duty members of the military. Were the character(s) to retire and then take it up as a Freelancer or Bounty Hunter that would be fine, but not as it stands.

We created a completly new Info page, while the "origin" remains the same, the "nowadays" part has been changed completly. We also added a new ranking system, and a better "tech tree". There are some other minor changes too. We would like to get some info, what do you think about it. And if there are any problems with it lore or otherwise please post it here. The new Faction Info can be found HERE

Once again we edited our info channel. Got rid of the "roster" part wich was not up to date. And placed a new part wich contains our cap ships down to cruiser class along with a short lore/history of each ship. You can find it here here. We would be intrested what do you think about this. Anykind of feedback is welcomed

Just a quick thumb up and kudos to the guys of 5th Fleet. Always have positive interactions with them, and if it wasn't for their constant presence, there would be very little lawful representation in Liberty space these days it seems. Keep up the good work.
I also wouldn't worry too much that your guys got the ALG issue confused. I used to fly an ALG scrap collector a long time ago but I gave up going to Liberty in it. Just about every guy in a navy ship didn't know that exception, and even had some members of the official LN decide to ignore it in the name of 'roleplay' and make up ridiculous fabricated reasons to impede me or remove me. Also, BH players liked to try and enforce the border embargo too for some reason. It just got too much hassle to even bother with. At least you have corrected your guys and informed them of the correct SOP where ALG is concerned. Thats all you can do.

Thank you for this pal, and that ALG issue you speak of was actually my fault, and I spoke with the guys flying and it was infact a new guy to the server and a good friend of mine, and we had a little chat and was all dealt with I did also apologise for this. But like I said in this thread or another one very similar myself and a few others are working on improving the 5th fleet and taking that lolwut cap issue and changing it to snub brawls and a few gunboats if anything, only heavier support if it is 100% required and needed.
