Frist to Zavier, I apologize if you have been made Don of the Benitez Family and I wasnt aware. It was my understanding was that Carlos was the leader of your faction, and you were next in line. If that is so, then we stand on equil footing as the Elders share leadership and the Cenutions share second in command. Am I mistaken. Second, you I am glad I finaly found out your response to my propsal, since I never recevied anything more than that it was being discussed. Now if you all had really been intrested, you may have come up with some counter proposal, but here we are four months, and this is the first time I have ever seen any type of proposal from the Benitez, yet the Brotherhood is accused of standing in the way of any reform.
As to Chico, As far as any of the Elders of the Brotherhood are aware, We recived no response to the proposal, the Elders and Centurions are in constant communication, and it's not as though we dont have our own discussions on things, don't think that something would be offered to the Elders and we would not discuss it as a group. Lastly, I will include in my report anything I feel aproprate, and if you have some problem with it, to bad.
I am now done with this discussion, my report has been made and accepted by the Elders, so my role in this is done.

I leave civilization for two days and this is what I find?
Laowai is correct, we have more enemies than Artifact nebulae.
Carlos is correct in searching for information for the destruction of his gunboat.
Both organizations have come to the same conclusion. And if I can remind you, Carlos, and anybody listening in on this channel, of the battle with the Mollies and the eager Indies that intervened even after both TBH and Benitez forces told them to hold off and protect Crete? As has been said, the Benitez ship was commanded by a young one and thus we are very willing to forgive him of this crime if he is to learn from it. Even if the captain or pilot receiving the order doesn't know the true intentions, it is a must that whoever they are follows orders for the safety an security of Gamma and the Corsair Nation at large.
I would even be willing to take the entirety of the Brotherhood into Theta. This would give us room to breathe and make us concentrate on our enemies rather than ourselves, although this is just a thought.
Now that everyone has come away from this a bit wiser perhaps we can turn our attention to the horde growing on our borders? Because they won't discriminate between TBH or Benitez. I suggest we don't either.

"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."
//Sorry for the OOC post, but I'm second in command of the Benitez, not first. Carlos is on the verge of leaving, ala his challenge to you.
I'm tired, I just helped fight off a five-BC strong incursion into Gamma and I'm going to bed for a good 12 hours. Leave a message if you need me.

"Kill the beast while it's wounded!", definitely not my style. I haven't spent my life catching traders nobody else could catch, or fighting my way through waves of enemies nobody else could stand against before, so I could see what I've fought for break apart just like that. I have a mind of my own, so I do have personal opinions about the world and everyone in it, but I can't stand when those very opinions become the driving force of a conflict between two blood-related entities. I've only killed Outcasts before because opinions didn't start our relentless war.
Carlos Benitez, my eyes may be amongst the best and most suited of this side of the galaxy, but even then I can't see well enough to read your mind and decipher your intentions every time you speak. You've done either what you in your correct or incorrect thinking is best for your family, or represent your close relative's thoughts and feelings. I can't judge you for that, as that really is the purpose of your title. Personally, I do have an opinion about what happened months ago when our negotiations failed, but that has long been buried under new skin when the old one was too scarred and blood-ridden by conflicts, betrayal and conspiracies. Although I think something should someday be done to stop every single reason that prevents us from being not only one body, but one mind as well, today we stand spotlighting our obviously different minds when our turn arrives. If I could propose the perfect solution for our status, I would. Sadly, an imperfect being can't create perfect things. Your address to the other Elders regarding the incident was indeed decent, to my eyes. Not giving or taking away reason to and from all who contributed in reheating such a stale soup, I only say that you shouldn't mind what makes us different, but rather help to improve or create new things that help us become one, like Globalo and Laowai say. We will treasure those things deeply when the day comes that peace settles in on our home. That doesn't mean I will whole-heartedly accept every proposal of unity, but it does mean I will judge them to the best of my ability, and wisdom at that time.
Stop cutting each other bit by bit, 'cause when our chance comes to clean our race from whatever threatens it, we won't have enough blood to survive. Our blood, our land. Our brothers, and nation.
Think bigger. All I can say for now.

Hola Brothers,
I'm now docked at Crete, after an eventful patrol today through the Omicrons.
I began my patrol at gamma, and as things seemed quite, I moved to patrol the route to Omicron Minor.
As I got to Omicron Delta, I noticed some abnormalities around the Minor JH that were way off.
As I moved to the JH, I manged to get a long range scan and noticed Keeper presence in Omicron Minor.
I quickly jumped and started patrolling around. I found them fending off some bounty hunters beneath planet Toledo.
I approached carefully, and as the Keepers weren't showing any sign of hostility towards me, I didn't open fire.
I then tried to engage in conversation with them, and after a short while I was answered.
It appears that they are in search of a dieing star, the warmth and light of it seems to be nurturing them and maybe even has something to do with their "Makers" or to their birth, as with he image they transmitted of the dying star, there was a Dark shape floating, with a lot of light coming from it.
It is weired... the way they communicate.. it is like.. they plant knowledge in your mind, answering your questions, although some of it is blurry at times, I think I'm succeeding in deciphering a part of it.
I have decided on conducting a research about these Keepers.
I wish to study them, their behavior, their history and their present, so we could understand them better, and perhaps, even manage to communicate clearly with them.
ok well, i want to say one thing.
i was an indie corsair, the order given was that of another INDIE corsair not TBH not Benitez not OPG an INDIE Ivan didnt get involved untill his wife shot at me, also i was in no way rude, and did no crime i was trying to kil the hessian like they where, then they fired upon me! so who did the crime then eh?? well it certainly was not me.

After some personal talks and chatter in the bar with some of those I see as my hermanos I officially want to state my neutrality in this conflict, thought I want to add my view as well. Centurion Skyelius stated some very good points. We are here to defend our land, not to destroy it with our own wars against other Corsairs. Our real target are the Outcasts, all their worshippers and those houses who won't tolerate our presence. It's indeed an outrage such conflicts rise by a minor incident which could be solved by those who caused the incident. But no, it has to come this far that two of the major Corsair forces fight again!
I have said enough for the moment, I hope you return the old unity without force again.

RE: The Voronov/Eagle_one incident
I would like to say a few things. I know the pilot of the Eagle_one rather well, and as an ex Brotherhood pilot, i know a few things about TBH too. Let me speak as an impartial onlooker.
From what I gather, the Voronovs were engaged in an honorable duel, and were interrupted by Eagle_one. This was wrong of Eagle, he should have stayed out. However as has been mentioned above, he was young, naive, all he was trying to do was kill the damned Hessian. I am sure that if the Voronovs had taken a bit more time to explain to him, that they do not want to make the fight unfair, he would have stood by and not joined in the fight.
I have complaints regarding the incident.
1. They let the Hessian go. I don't care what Eagle_one did, you kill the enemy first, deal with internal arguments later.
2. I do not agree that Eagle_one should have deferred to Ivan Voronov. He was not under TBH command, if the Voronovs found this behavious to be one of treason, they should have presented the case to the Elders, instead of taking justice in their own hands.
Though I believe the Voronovs were right to be angered by Eagle one's interruption, I am disgusted that they reacted so harshly as to fire upon another Corsair. All he was doing, albeit stupidly, was to try and help.
Regarding the authority matter. What authority does a TBH Centurion have over independent Corsairs, or any other Corsair for that matter outside of the Brotherhood? Am I to understand then, that as leader of the OPG, I can issue orders to TBH Centurions and their lower ranking pilots? Even if I did say, have this authority, it would be disrepectful of me to use it, and especially disrespectful to TBH if I destroyed his/her ship for not deferring to me.
I find the report biased and inaccurate. If Eagle one was insubordinate, this should have been reported to the Elders. The punishment for treason is indeed death, but a Centurion does NOT have the authority to either decide that said action was treason, OR to pass down the punishment.
Asno Muleo, disappointed to find Carlos on the verge of leaving command of the Benitez, and careless threats of civil war at home, when we do not have enough forces to fight the enemies we have at our doorstep...

RE: Council seats
Another thing that occured to me. Unlike the Benitez, the OPG are not a family, we are similar to TBH. We are a band of Corsairs, banded together to try to gain credits and supplies for Crete by unlawful means, Gentle started us, some of us joined him, we are also led and funded by a few Dons similar to those in the council presently.
By the logic with which the Benitez were denied more seats in the council, shouldn't the OPG then not be granted more? At the moment, there is myself, Ivan, and Cap_death, who are worthy of council seats by this logic.
Either grant the Benitez more seats, they are much deserving of it, or grant the OPG more, it is up to you.
hey asno you're right i am young and i did try to attack the hessian but they shouldnt have shot me, and in my opinion Benitez should get 2 seats more in council and OPG should get 2 more aswell. make it fair.
Thanks amigos.
