A light battleship still certainly has its uses, but there are things it can't do. Things that we do require a heavier ship to do. However we do not want to replace the Mako. The ship is also somewhat... symbolic and sentimental.

Second one looks promising!

Here are my opinions/critics about it:

-Love the design 'edged' look that it has
-The extended windows that it has on the broadsides needs to chill. Too much windows. Honestly, Battleships aren't really suppose to have windows for the crew to see outside; maybe a few for their quarters.
-And not to forget the 'infamous' forward gun. It doesn't need one. It's like every faction wants a 'finishing shotgun' on their Capital. It's getting boring.

2) It's just a matter of replacing the textures. If the CORE leadership want it to change, it will be changed.
3) As for the forward gun, it was initially envisioned with a FWG, but that can be removed.
