I've recently ran into a problem, which exceeds my abilities and would like to as help from anyone who has the knowledge and would be so kind to share it.
So the thing is the following:
After texturing (in Blender) my model, the .obj file didn't want to load properly to Milkshape. Then after a few attempts, I managed to convert it to cmp with 3Ds Max 2008. Here comes the tricky part, I made the mat for it with Milkshape, and the outcome was this: http://imgur.com/a/GWnwH
@Swallow suggested I might have to flip faces.. but I find it ridiculous if every second face on the engines are flipped, when I made it from a cylinder via extruding ... but I might be wrong. Opinions please, or ideas on how can I solve this?
Thanks in advance.
PS: I've flipped some of the faces and exported again, still not showing up on the cmp .. or on the obj in 3Ds Max.

Sure, here you go. Also, as a side note, I'm experiencing the same problem ( missing things and wonky textures) when I render it in 3Ds Max , but not in Blender.
Nope, that doesn't seem to work :/ , but the problem isn't realy in the textures as far as I could figure, cause entire faces are not visible . I've tried fipping them, mbut then the texture turned black :/
so , even with the help of @Unlucky_Soul , I'm facing the problem still, cause after he did a few things with the model, all the material groups got messed up so I'd have to start texturing from scratch .. which tbh isn't that apealing :/
so any ideas are welcome on how I can fix this either in Blender or in 3Ds Max
