Attention, Second Fleet,
Decision has been taken to raise alert level for West Quadrant.
You may have noticed an increased encounter rate of Imperial Navy personnel, former members of the Kusari Naval Forces who decided to stand with the last owner of the Chrysanthemum Throne, Kogen Jien.
It does appear the last Emperor fleet remains have been withdrawing from Seto System and regrouped in the Taus.
According to the Intel gathered so far, they are willing to fight their way back to Kusari, in order to seize power over House Kusari, no matter the cost.
The last informations made available to High Command indicate Exiles may be launching a strike in an attempt to gain control over Kyushu system.
Those are our brothers in arms, long lost following the war with Gallia. Therefore, I'd rather not have to harm them in any way. However, their appetite for power will cause deaths among our civilian population; the population we vowed to protect from all threats. Consequently, we cannot, no matter our feelings towards our fellow brothers, let this escalate.
I'm expecting you all to prove once more the excellency and the dedication of our Warrior Caste.
Avoid causing unnecessary deaths if it can be avoided. Remain vigilant.
Deployment is as follows.
- 3rd Battle-cruiser Division will be positioned in the vicinity of Tsushima depot. The battle-group long range scanners must keep Ohka dust cloud in check, especially the area containing the Jump-hole to Tau 23 system. Battle-group fighters cover must be able to intercept any intruder coming from Tau 23.
- 9th Battlecruiser Division will be guarding Nansei Research Complex. The installation is a key asset; no hostile must be allowed to damage the station, as consequences could be dire for everyone in Kyushu system. Battle-group long range scanner will cover the other part of Ohka dust cloud for better coverage of the area.
