COMM ID:Sergeant Adam Palmer, 22nd Marine Regiment TARGET ID: ESRD Directorate. SUBJECT:ESRD Recruitment. ENCRYPTION:High PRIORITY:High
Directorate,
I received news that the ESRD are recruiting officers. Well, that's why I'm contacting you, I would like to transferred into the ESRD ranks, after my long service in the Marine corps, I believe that my experience and skills could be used somewhere with better benefit for Liberty. I see that my my experience should be placed within the ESRD.
I have received word of your department's openings. I am putting forth a request of transfer as I feel my skills are wasted defending the Texan borders day in and out. Please notify me as to your decision as soon as possible.
All of your applications and service records have been reviewed and approved. Over the next forty-eight hours I expect the three of you to make your way to [23-9-12-12-1-18-4] When you arrive, you will make your way to the crew quarters and claim an empty bunk.
Naturally, once you arrive on the station, there is no going back. Your previous service records will effectively cease to exist, along with your identities. You will be pushed to the very limits of your physical and mental selves. You will do things others would be court martialed for, you will see things others only speak of in rumors, and you will endure all of this, for the Greater Good of The Republic.
This Division is not for the weak, and if you are weak, you will not survive.

Good evening, everyone.
Over the past year and a half or so, it's possible that some of you may have encountered an enigmatic organization operating within the Liberty Navy, which up until now has operated in exclusive secrecy. Some of you may also be aware of the increasing security at Willard Station, and a number of unknown operatives operating under generic callsigns.
This organization is known as the External Security and Research Division.
As of this moment, the existence of the ESRD is declassified for officers of ranks Lieutenant and higher. The fact that this organization wasn't officially acknowledged up until now is something which I feel has been a grave breach of trust on the behalf of the Liberty Navy toward its staff. As the new head of special forces, I feel that it's my duty not only to lead our operatives, but also to ensure that we have the support of the entire Liberty Navy, which we can't accomplish if the very fact of our existence is considered confidential, and if people think we're sneaking around behind their backs.
This does not mean that all information pertaining to the ESRD is declassified. This just means that the details of its existence are now available for anyone who is interested in examining them. This also means that no one will need to refer to the ESRD as "the shady guys of Willard" anymore.
Anyone that wishes to gain more specific knowledge pertaining to individual operations of the ESRD is free to file a request, though bear in mind that such requests may not be granted if there isn't a good reason behind it.
Finally, and importantly, the ranks of the ESRD are once again open for those that wish to join. After an application process and interview, those that are deemed acceptable will be welcomed into the division. You will not be required to leave behind your old lives, as apparently dictated in previous recruitments--however, any work that you do with the ESRD is still classified, and it's unlikely that the details of your involvement will be available to anyone outside the ESRD's chain of command.
With that all said and done, this channel is now open for new applicants. Anyone that applied before this month will have to be file an application again, and I apologize for the inconvenience. I will leave any questions and applications to the Director of the ESRD.

Sergeant Palmer. It is wonderful to see an operative with renewed interest in the work of the ESRD.
You will find that your old bunk on Willard Station is in pristine condition, and that your access rights have been updated. I expect to see you returned to active duty with the Division soon...within the next forty-eight hours, I should hope. We have such a busy schedule to keep, and you will be needed.

----------
After having spent some time working for Logistics and just doing regular patrol duties, I found myself wanting to do more and wanting to serve more. There's always a scope to keep learning and keep improving. This is the major reason I have picked this division as I feel it will allow me to do all those things and more.
I am decently experienced in the field and able to handle myself to a good degree, but as I previously stated there is always a scope to do as well as be more, I hope this division will allow me to accomplish those two objectives by furthering my training with advanced techniques.
I have been instructed by the directorate to process your application. The ESRD is looking forward to willing applicants, however there's a couple of things you'll need to know.
Going through your service record and performance I must say that it's satisfying enough to get you to the doorstep. After you cross that doorstep then you've reached the point of no return. Much of you is going to change here; Refraining from former contacts, your old personal data and identity classified. You will see a blurred line when it will come to the operational discretion, for others would be facing a discharge or worse. You will see what others would only hear of as rumors and with that absolute valiance, fidelity and loyalty will be expected from you. Here you're going to dedicate your own very self to your very limits into serving for the Greater Good of the Republic of Liberty.
You can't be weak in the ESRD. If you are you won't make it.
So, Reeves, as your chose supervisor I can say your application is done. Ready to see what you're really made out of?
Commander Elisabeth DeGrange, over and out.

After giving the idea some thought, and deciding that I wanted to expand my abilities, I've decided to put this application through to the Navy External Security & Research Division. I believe wholeheartedly that what skills I have can be further honed, and I'm more than willing to do what I must to keep this nation safe.
Custodibus et punctum.
